Cricketer Suryakumar Yadav details his new Mercedes GLS in his own detailing studio [Video]

Suryakumar Yadav is one cricketer who has climbed the ladders of success faster than anyone else in recent times. The ace cricketer, who has earned the title of ‘Mr 360’ for his glorious cricketing shots on all the corners of the field, is also an avid car enthusiast. In recent times, Suryakumar Yadav acquired two heavily customized cars in his collection – a Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d with AMG kit and a fully-modified Jonga. Here’s a video of Surya’s GLS which was spotted at a detailing studio for premium detailing services.

The Polar White-coloured Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d owned by Studio arrived at ‘The Detailing Studio’ in Mumbai, which is also co-owned by the cricketer himself. The GLS received the LLumar Valor PPF kit and clear heat-rejection window films. The SUV also got bestowed with additional highlights like Stek DYNOflex protection for the windscreen and sunroof.

Talking more about the exterior highlights of this customized Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d owned by Suryakumar Yadav, the SUV gets Panamericana Grille with vertical slats and AMG-inspired front and rear bumpers. While the front lip spoiler, lower air intake, side steps, side window surrounds, roof rails and front bumper strip get a brushed steel finish, the grille slats and tailgate strip across the boot lid are finished in shining chrome.

In addition, this customized GLS also gets high gloss black surrounds for the front intake, body-coloured door mirror arms, a matte black base for the rear diffuser, a shiny chrome finish for the main diffuser plate and a new set of 23-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels similar to those of the Maybach GLS 600.

Espresso Brown cabin

Step on the inside and the customized Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d of Suryakumar Yadav welcomes one with Espresso Brown-themed Artico man-made leather upholstery with black contrast stitching. Here, the pillar trims and headliner of the cabin are finished in contrasting white, while the trim parts feature various kinds of themes like metallic silver, shiny chrome and high-gloss anthracite lime wood.

Positioned below the flagship Maybach GLS 600, the GLS 400d is the more powerful diesel variant of the GLS lineup, which also includes the more popular GLS 350d. The GLS 400d is powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo inline-six-cylinder diesel engine, which is coupled with a 48V mild-hybrid tech and produces 330 hp of maximum power and 700 Nm of maximum torque. This variant of the GLS class comes with a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission.

Surya Kumar Yadav also bought a Nissan 1-Ton after getting inspired by the former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The customized Nissan 1 Ton has an authoritative stance to it, thanks to the massive 35-inch Rocktrak tubeless off-road spec tyres. The steel wheels mimic the neon green theme of the vehicle around their circumference and on the hub caps. The A-pillars of the vehicle come mounted with annually adjustable rearview mirrors, which come integrated with side cameras that support the 360-degree parking function of the vehicle.
