In a bid to attract the more stylish audience to their product line-up, Datsun has launched special editions of their entry level hatchback – Go and the MUV based on it – Go+.
Both the cars go through cosmetic changes on the outside and the inside and are known as “Style” edition. No changes to the engine have been done.
On the outside, both the cars get new body graphics, roof rails, rear mounted roof spoiler, chrome exhaust tip and a “Style” logo moniker on the rear. Both of them will be available with an all-new metallic blue colour among other colours that are already available.
Interior changes in both the special edition cars include dual-tone black and beige colour scheme on the dashboard, centre console painted in piano black colour and brushed silver inserts. The seat covers are also upgraded to feel more premium and match the theme of the dual-tone dashboard.
The special edition cars are based on the mid-variant trim and miss out on the airbag. Interestingly, the car gets the mobile docking station, which is only available with the top-end variant.
Both the cars share the same 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that is tuned to produce 67 Bhp of maximum power and 104 Nm of torque. They get a 5-speed gearbox with fuel efficiency rated at 20.06 km/l for the Go+ and 20.62 km/l for the Go.
