Datsun redi-GO official accessories detailed in new video

The redi-GO is the most affordable car from Nissan India. It rivals the likes of Renault Kwid and Maruti Alto. Akin to its rivals, the redi-GO offers two engine options – 0.8-litre petrol and 1.0-litre petrol. Additionally, the 1.0-litre petrol motor also offers an optional AMT. While the entire redi-GO range offers essentials like air-conditioning and power steering, it misses out on some other features. However, you can add some more features to this entry-level hatchback by installing the host of official accessories that the company provides.

The Datsun redi-GO is an entry-level hatchback. So, you don’t get many high-end official accessories for it. However, the accessories that can be bought from authorized dealerships are pretty useful and can be installed without affecting the car’s warranty. For the car’s front-end, you can install a set of LED DRLs in the bumper. These are the same LED DRLs that come as standard on the top-end trims of the 1.0-litre redi-GO. You can also purchase a bumper protector to save your bumper from small scratches. The same can be also purchased for the rear bumper. Datsun also offers an ‘Aero kit’, which comprises of a side body cladding. A set of wheel covers can be added to the lower trims while you can further enhance the look by installing roof rails. Chrome-finished door handle covers can be also added. Door side beading can be installed to protect the car from small scratches.

On the inside, you can install illuminated scuff plates to enhance the look of the cabin. You can also install a set of stylish seat covers and a steering wheel cover. Also on offer is a reverse parking assistance system that comes with sensors and a camera. Datsun also sells a GPS tracking system that has an anti-theft alarm built into it. Finally, you can also purchase bits like a body cover, gear lock, and car perfume.
