Datsun launched the limited edition of their most popular hatchback, redi-GO. The limited edition gets a lot of extra features at a price of Rs. 3.49 lakh, which is around Rs. 15,000 extra from the top-end variant of the redi-GO.
The changes in the car are limited to cosmetic ones and no engine changes have been done to the car. The limited edition was launched in the presence of Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik who also became the first customer of the limited edition of the redi-GO. The redi-GO will be on sale until the festive season lasts in India.
The special edition Datsun redi-GO looks unique and special with sport themed gun metal black grille with red accents on it. It also gets a gloss black wheel cover with red accent matching the grille of the car. There are also race decals across the bonnet and the roof of the car. The car also gets a black roof mounted spoiler.
The interiors are now all-black and look very sporty. Extra features in the car include rear parking sensors, remote keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity to the audio system. The Datsun redi-GO limited edition looks very good and can be a very good competition to the rivals in the market.
Commenting on her association with Datsun, Sakshi Malik said “I am thrilled to partner with Datsun, a brand that is a true representation of the young achievers. I believe that Datsun redi-GO is a perfect fit for me, as I am always in pursuit of achieving my dreams and I believe that I am going to connect to every Datsun redi-GO owner, all driving towards achieving their dreams. Say Yes to Your Dreams.”
The redi-GO remains mechanically unchanged and gets powered by an 800cc petrol engine that generated 53 BHP and 72 Nm Nm of maximum fuel efficiency. The car returns a maximum of 25.17 km/l as per ARAI. The redi-GO sales almost touched 4,000 units last month and with the limited edition, the sales will further get a boost during coming festive season.
