This DC modified Renault Duster is super AFFORDABLE!

The Renault Duster was quite a popular choice in the compact SUV segment some time back. It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and the Honda BR-V among others in the segment. However, the Duster has fallen behind in terms of sales of late as it did not receive timely updates and hence lagged behind the competition in terms of features. As some of you may remember, DC Designs released popular design for the Duster which made it look quite good. It costed a substantial sum apart from the cost of the car itself. However, what if you could buy a DC modified Renault Duster at a price that is less than even the base Maruti Suzuki Swift.

The Duster featured here is modified by DC Designs and that can be seen by its looks. The asking price for this used DC modified Renault Duster is just Rs. 4.90 lakh, which makes it a good deal. To let you know, the base LXi variant of the Maruti Suzuki Swift retails for Rs. 4.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The spare parts and maintenance costs would not be high too since the Duster is not a very expensive or high-end vehicle. Moreover, what you get is a compact SUV that looks the part as it’s been modified by DC Designs.

Talking about how it looks, the front fascia has been completely revamped to give the car a ravishing look. The headlights have been placed far below than their usual position while LED DRLs have taken the original position of headlights. A DC logo sits on top of the grille which is surrounded by silver inserts. The headlight housing is also surrounded by similar silver inserts.

However, the interiors of this Duster have not received the full DC treatment and are mostly stock. The dashboard has been given wood treatment which enhances the cabin appeal by miles. Most of the modifications done are on the exteriors apart from a few changes that have been made to the interiors.

The DC modified Renault Duster featured here is the Rxl Optional model which was the 85 PS Diesel version. This variant is powered by a 1.5-litre K9K turbocharged diesel engine with 85 PS of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque. This is, in fact, the lower state of tune for the Duster as the same engine is also available in 110 PS-240 Nm state of tune. The 85 PS variant is a decent vehicle for daily driving and can handle some decent speeds too on the highway.

This Duster is available for sale in Pune, Maharastra, where it has been with its first owner since the time it was bought. The odometer of the car shows a reading of 1,04,000 km.
