Delivery of India's first Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4 on video

Earlier this year Toyota launched the 2021 facelifted version of Fortuner in the Indian market. The manufacturer also launched a much more premium looking Legender version of the SUV in the market as well. Now Toyota has officially launched a 4×4 version of the Legender and it is currently the most expensive version of Fortuner in the market. The SUV has started reaching the dealerships and here we have a video of a YouTuber taking delivery of the first Legender 4×4 in India.

The video has been uploaded by GAURAV ZONE on his YouTube channel. The video starts with Vlogger talking about the new car that he bought. He along with his family then go to Toyota dealership for the delivery. He mentioned that it is the first Toyota Fortuner 4×4 SUV that is being delivered to a customer in India.

The dealership staff then takes him through all the features that the SUV offers. He also mentioned that he has already paid over 3 lakhs for the registration plate on this SUV. The Legender 4×4 costed the vlogger around 51 lakh on-road. The dealership staff can be heard saying in the video that there is a waiting period of almost 5 months on 4×4 version and 4 months on 4×2 variant.

The family was very happy about the SUV and the same was reflecting on their faces too. The rotary switches for engaging 4×4 are also shown in the video. Toyota Legender as mentioned above, is a much more premium and aggressive looking version of regular Fortuner.

It offers a gloss black inserts instead of chrome and there is a split front grille which gives it an aggressive look. The headlamps gets are all LEDs and there is a unique looking LED DRL in it as well. The fog lamps are placed on the bumper and the dynamic turn indicators are placed on the lower part of the bumper.

The SUV gets 18 inch diamond cut dual tone alloy wheels and the roof is finished in black. Legender is available in dual tone colour option only. The interiors on the Legender also get a dual tone finish. The interiors are finished in Black and Maroon shade which gives it an upmarket feel. The Legender 4×4 gets 11 speaker system from JBL, ambient lights, wireless phone charger both at the front and rear, ventilated seats for front row, electric tailgate, 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Toyota is offering Fortuner with both petrol and diesel engine options but, the Legender series is available with diesel engine only. The Legender is powered by a 2.8 litre turbo diesel engine that generates 204 Ps and 500 Nm of peak torque. The Legender 4×4 comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard. Toyota Fortuner has been present in the market for a very long time and the popularity of the SUV does not seem to decrease. Buyers prefer Fortuner as it is reliable. There are Fortuner SUVs in India that have completed over 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh kms on odometer without any engine problems.
