Ducati launches XDiavel in India

Ducati has launched the all-new model of high-performance cruisers, the XDiavel and XDiavel S in India. The price starts at Rs. 15.87 lakh, while the XDiavel S costs Rs. 18.47 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.


The brutal looking motorcycle is built around an all-new frame. The engine is a part of the chassis itself. The new XDiavel comes with trademark looks like single-side swingarm, exposed chassis, short seat and muscular looks.

The standard features of the XDiavel include ride-by-wire system with three riding modes – Sport, Touring and Urban. There is Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Power Launch (DPL), Bosch Cornering ABS, three-way adjustable riding position, cruise control and 3.5-inch TFT display.


The higher end S version gets extra features like Rims with wide black spokes, special paint scheme called thrilling black with red stripe on the tank. It also has billeted rear-view mirrors, frame plates and specially forged foot peg plates. The S version of the XDiavel also comes with Bluetooth module that can be connected to a phone and can be used to play music.


The XDiavel is powered by the new Ducati Testastretta DVT engine. The 1,262cc engine is bigger than the last engine and delivers a maximum of 156 BHP in Sport and Touring mode, while in Urban mode, the engine produces only 100 BHP of power. This is the first bike from Ducati with the belt-drive system. Both the models are now available across Ducati dealers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru.
