Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 sportsbike launched in India

Italian motorcycle maker Ducati has launched a new sportsbike in India – the Scrambler Mach 2.0. The bike is priced at Rs. 8.52 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. The Scrambler naked sportsbikes aimed at everyday riding is the most affordable range in Ducati’s line-up.

The bike is powered by an 803cc, L-Twin four stroke engine that is air cooled. The engine features modern equipment such as fuel injection, twin cam shafts and 8 valves. It produces 73 PS of peak power at 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm of peak torque at 5,750 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that comes with a slipper clutch.

The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is a very special motorcycle that is a result of our collaboration with Roland and will provide a unique flavour to Scrambler buyers.

The Scrambler Mach 2.0 gets a few features that help distinguish it from the other Scramblers sold in India. The bike features a special paint scheme created by Roland Sands, an American motorcycle designer. It also gets other features such as a low variable cross-section aluminium handlebar, a Flat Track seat, blacked out exhaust and cylinder head covers, and cooling fins.

Other key bits of the bike including the suspension set up is similar to the other Scramblers. The 186 kilogram bike uses Kayaba upside down front forks and rear monoshcok suspension. It gets disc brakes on both wheels with ABS as standard. Ducati offers a 24 month warranty on the bike with service intervals of 12,000 Kms. The bike is available for purchase at all 7 Ducati India dealerships at all seven Ducati dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Kochi.
