Actor and car enthusiast Dulquer Salmaan buys Maybach GLS600 worth Rs 3 crore [Video]

The father-son actor duo from Kerala, Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan, are well-known for their love of unique and expensive cars. They have a car collection known as ‘0369 Garage’, which has all cars with 0369 as their registration numbers. The latest addition to this coveted garage, owned by Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan, is a brand-new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600.

The GLS 600 is the flagship SUV from Mercedes-Benz, which falls under the brand’s ultra-luxury division, Mercedes-Maybach. The GLS 600 added to the 0369 Garage is registered in the name of Mohammad Kutty, which happens to be the real name of Mammootty. A video of Mammootty’s son, Dulquer Salmaan, taking delivery of the black-colored GLS 600 has surfaced on the internet.

This is the first Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 bought in the state of Kerala. Like all his other cars, Mammootty has registered this GLS 600 with the number 0369. It is reported that the Mollywood actor paid a premium of Rs. 1.85 lakh for this exclusive number, for the GLS 600, which costs around Rs. 2.92 crore (ex-showroom, India).

With this new purchase, Mammootty has become the second movie star from South India to be a proud owner of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. Before Mammootty, Telugu actor Ram Charan had already purchased a fully-customized black-colored GLS 600 in 2022. In addition to these two South Indian actors, a few other Bollywood personalities, including Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, and Shilpa Shetty, have also added the GLS 600 to their car collections.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS600

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is an opulent SUV from the German brand, available in a single variant. Powering this mammoth and expensive SUV is a 4.0-liter BiTurbo V8 engine, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SUV gets several state-of-the-art premium features like lounge seating, a panoramic sunroof, a rear-seat entertainment package, a small refrigerator, a Burmester audio system, and a virtual assistant.

Besides this newly-purchased GLS 600, Mammootty also owns some more expensive cars and SUVs, including a Toyota Land Cruiser, Range Rover Autobiography, Land Rover Defender 110, Toyota Vellfire, Audi A7, Volkswagen Polo GTI, Mini Cooper S, and a Jaguar XJ. His son Dulquer Salman owns a slightly more exotic car collection, including BMW E46 M3, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, old-generation restored Land Rover Defender 110, Mini Cooper Mark-I, Porsche Panamera Turbo, Porsche 911 GT3, Mercedes-AMG G63, Ferrari 458 Spider, BMW X6M, and a few more.
