Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson gifts mum a swanky new Cadillac XT6 luxury SUV

Popular American wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson has gifted an all-new Cadillac XT6 SUV to his mother. Commonly known as ‘The Rock’ in the world of wrestling, Johnson gifted the swanky midsize luxury SUV to his mother on the eve of Christmas. This is the second time he has gifted a car to his mother. Even last time, he gifted a Cadillac SUV.

The actor had uploaded a post on his Instagram account, in which he can be seen showing the all-new car to his mother as a surprise. The post included a video, in which he is seen uncovering the eyes of his mother in front of the new vehicle. He and his mother are accompanied by his two daughters, who look overjoyed by the moment. The post also includes a series of pictures, in which his mother can be seen behind the steering wheel of the new XT6.

The new Cadillac XT6 presented by Dwayne Johnson to his mother looks like the Premium Luxury variant of the SUV. In the USA, this variant of the premium midsize SUV is priced at $55,000, which translates to Rs 42 lakh in the Indian currency (without taxes). The SUV gifted is in a subtle shade of white, which makes it look more elegant.

The Cadillac XT6 is one of the highest-selling models from the luxury carmaker in the United States of America. This midsize SUV takes on the likes of SUVs like Mercedes Benz GLE, BMW X5, Range Rover Velar, and Jaguar F-Pace. The Premium Luxury variant of the Cadillac XT6 gets a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine under its hood, which pumps out a maximum power output of 306 bhp @ 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque output of 367 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. This variant of the XT6 gets a 9-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive layout as standard.

Dwayne Johnson is one of those celebrities from Hollywood who is a prominent automotive enthusiast as well. The car collection of the actor is nothing short of a dream garage, with the list including names like Ford F-150, Chevrolet Chevelle, Pagani Huayra, Ferrari LaFerrari, Lamborghini Huracan, Ford GT, Rolls Royce Wraith, Plymouth Prowler, and Cadillac Escalade. The Ford F-150 owned by him is also visible in the post of him gifting the Cadillac XT6 to his mother in the backdrop.

The carmaker is known for making some of the most premium cars in the country, which is highly preferred by American celebrities and government officials.
