The official launch of the Toyota Rumion is just around the corner, and in anticipation of it, Toyota has unveiled an official video of the MPV on its social media platforms. The newly released visual commercial for the Rumion by Toyota showcases all the premium features that will be included in the new MPV, presented in the vibrant Spunky Blue color option.
Although the Toyota Rumion is essentially a badge-engineered version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota has made subtle modifications to the MPV’s front profile, as depicted in the video. In comparison to the Ertiga, the new Rumion boasts a distinct front grille featuring chrome accents, which appear to draw inspiration from the pre-facelift Innova Crysta.
Furthermore, the front bumper of the Toyota Rumion presents a distinctive appearance, with updated housings for the fog lamps and a lower air dam adorned with a chrome finish. Other alterations introduced to the new Toyota Rumion compared to the Ertiga encompass a unique design for the 15-inch machined alloy wheels, as well as distinct badges at the rear. However, the design of the wraparound tail lamps with LED inserts remains consistent.

In the video, the instrument console’s MID displays a fuel efficiency rating of 20.51 kmpl, suggesting that the Rumion might boast a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.51 kmpl.
Will feature the same engine as Ertiga
In addition to the Spunky Blue color option showcased in the video commercial, the Toyota Rumion will also be offered in Rustic Brown, Iconic Grey, Café White, and Enticing Silver color choices. The Toyota Rumion will be accessible in three variants – S, G, and V. All these variants will feature the Ertiga’s 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine as standard, delivering 103 PS of maximum power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque.
While a 5-speed manual transmission will be standard across all three variants of the Toyota Rumion, the G and V variants will additionally offer a 6-speed automatic transmission as an option. Moreover, the S variant will also provide a CNG version, delivering 87.8 PS of maximum power and 121.5 Nm of peak torque in CNG mode, coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission.
