Exclusive: Mitsubishi Outlander details revealed ahead of India launch

Mitsubishi will be launching the all-new Outlander in the Indian market soon and we have shared spy shots of the same in India previously. Now we have exclusive information regarding the vehicle.

Details:

The vehicle will go on sale soon and will be offered with a 2.4 liter engine that produces 165 Bhp and 222 Nm. The engine is mated to a CVT with 6 predefined slots. It will get paddle shifters and will accelerate from 0-100 in 11.1 seconds. The transmission will also get a sports mode.

Since Mitsubishi SUVs are known for their off-roading capabilities and their ruggedness, this will be no different. It will come with an electronically controlled 4wd system to help tackle all the rough stuff you’d want to throw at the SUV. It is also equipped with ASC (Active Stability Control).

In terms of features, the vehicle will be equipped with LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. The headlamps come with the active highbeam feature which automatically dims the highbeam. This will be a segment first feature. The vehicle will also be fitted with a sun roof, a first for any Mitsubishi product in India. It will also get rain sensing wipers and hill start assist. It will be equipped with leather upholstery and we will be getting the 7 seat version. The vehicle will have dual zone climate control, a Rockford Fosgate sound system with a 6.1″ screen. It will have 710W 8-channel system and a high power amplifier. Mitsubishi has always offered the Fosgate system on the Outlander and from the looks of it, it will continue to do so. The car will get an E-park brake with the auto hold option and also a key-less go system, like the older Outlander.
