The kit is mainly a visual makeover. There is no change under the hood or in terms of the suspension or any other mechanical component. The kit includes a TRD grille, which has been finished in black and has the TRD logo on it as well, in red. Those who didn’t like the excess chrome in the stock car will be happy with the blacked out grille. In addition to the grille, the fog lamp housing is now blacked out as well and it features new skirting. On the side, there are side skirts and TRD graphics, that extend all the way into the rear bumper, which also gets new skirting. There are no changes on the inside either.

All the changes are only to enhance the looks of the vehicle and to make it more sporty. As far as engines are concerned, there is no exact details on which engine options the TRD will be offered with. This particular one was a diesel 2.8 liter. According to rumors, only the 4×2 diesel was to get the TRD, however we will have to wait for the launch of the vehicle to know for sure if only one variant is getting this treatment or others are as well.
