Honda Amaze facelift launched at Rs 6.32 lakh

Honda has launched the facelifted version of its sub-4m compact sedan – the Amaze. This mid-life update of the Amaze has a few visual changes. The new Amaze gets a price tag of Rs 8.32 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi and the top-end goes to Rs 11.15 lakh, ex-showroom.

The new Amaze gets a new grille. The new multi-slat chrome slats grille does look premium. The new Amaze also gets LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, LED front fog lamps and newly designed 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and are coated to offer a dual-tone finish.

Other changes include new chrome door handles. At the rear, Honda has added new C-shaped LED tail lamps. Overall, the new Amaze does look quite interesting and it looks thoroughly updated overall. Honda will offer five colour options including the new Meteor Grey colour.

The cabin has been updated as well. However, visually the dashboard looks similar to the outgoing version. There is a new infotainment system that adds the capability of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is also voice command, rear parking camera, multiple-view guidelines, push-button start, automatic AC and more.

Honda continues to offer the same 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine with the new Amaze. The 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine returns a maximum fuel economy of 18.6 km/l. The diesel variants offer high fuel efficiency of 24.7 km/l. The power and torque output remain the same. With the petrol engine, the Amaze produces a maximum of 90 PS while with the diesel, it produces a maximum of 100 PS with the manual and 80 PS with the CVT automatic.

Longest warranty

Honda has introduced the longest 10 years anytime warranty with the Amaze. The details of the same are not out yet. The standard warranty is 3 years unlimited kilometres. Customers can extend it to 5 years unlimited kilometres as well.

To attract customers, Honda offers 14 new accessories packages that can be installed by the dealership. Starting with the Chrome Package and Utility Package, there are a few others as well. Honda has started accepting the bookings for the new Amaze and the deliveries are expected to start soon.

Even the entry-level variant will come with the ABS, parking sensor, front airbags, and more. The mid-level variant gets a long list of features including the LED DRLs and projector lamps.
