The South Korean carmaker Kia is planning to launch the facelifted iteration of its highly popular mid-size SUV Seltos by July of this year. According to reports, the company will offer the newest model with some of the creature comforts that it has been missing out on at the moment. One of the most significant changes in this forthcoming new model will be the addition of a panoramic sunroof. The model will boast a few changes on the exterior and the overall interior as well.
Regarding the changes on the outside, the mid-size SUV Seltos, one of the most popular cars in its segment, will receive a reworked fascia, with a tweaked front grille and new headlamps with revised daytime running LEDs and fog lamps. Additionally, the forthcoming facelifted model will also boast an all-new front bumper with a bigger and revised silver skid plate. For those unaware, Kia has launched the mid-life facelift of the Seltos internationally, which we are expecting.
Moving on to the changes on the side profile of the car, they will be minimal. From the pictures seen so far, we can note that the car could be offered with a set of new and aggressive-looking alloy wheels. However, apart from that, the rest of the side profile will be pretty much identical to the outgoing model. As for the rear, the Seltos facelift will get tweaked LED tail lamps with an LED connecting light bar across the width of the boot lid.

One of the most significant upgrades of the new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will be on the interior side of things. According to reports, the single pane sunroof on the current model of the Seltos will be replaced by a panoramic sunroof on the next iteration.
Apart from that, the cabin layout of the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will also be different from the present model, with the new model having a new cockpit layout for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system. While the instrument console will be an all-digital affair, the centre console will be redesigned with new controls for the audio system and temperature control. The automated variants may come with a rotary knob similar to the international model.
As for the powertrain side of things, the 1.5-liter petrol engine with 115 horsepower and 144 Nm, as well as the 1.5-liter turbo-diesel engine with 116 horsepower and 250 Nm, will both remain in the Seltos facelift. Kia is also anticipated to reintroduce the turbo-petrol engine in the Seltos, although in 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque tune as opposed to the 140 horsepower and 242 Nm of torque. The new turbo-petrol engine may be paired with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission as well.
