Another change that we will see on the Dominar 2019 is the twin barrel exhaust. The new exhaust is likely to get a bit throatier than the ongoing version. A spy video of the same went viral on the internet a few months back. It will also get a new instrument cluster that looks similar to the current model but displays much more information than the current version of the Dominar 400.

The secondary instrument panel mounted on the tank of the new Dominar has been updated and shows new information like gear positioning which can be seen from the image.Coming to the mechanical bit, it will continue with the same 373-cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine, but this time it is likely to produce more power. A dual channel ABS will be available as standard with the 2019 Dominar.

Bajaj will be discontinuing the non-ABS version of Dominar 400 from the market soon when the new safety norms kick in. According to the new rule no two-wheeler manufacturer in the country will be allowed to sell a bike of scooter above 125-cc without ABS.

What this means is that the 2019 Bajaj Dominar will be a pricier than the outgoing model. It is likely to be priced around Rs 1.80 lakh, ex-showroom. The 2019 Bajaj Dominar will face competition from KTM Duke 390, the recently launched Honda CB 300R and will also continue to challenge various Royal Enfield motorcycles in the segment.
