General Motors unveiled a heavily face-lifted Captiva SUV at the Auto Expo 2012.
New Chevrolet Captiva video review
The new Captiva adds serious flair and muscle to what was already a pretty good, though some staid offering.
The massive new Audi-like grille intersected by Chevrolet bow-tie logo gives a pretty aggressive stance. And the new 2.2 diesel engine gives it ample power: 163 bhp and 184 bhp depending on the variant. The interiors too are much improved. Also read: Chevrolet launches new 2012 Captiva
We expect the new Captiva to be priced in the Rs. 19-Rs.21 lakh range. And we expect the new Captiva to be a far more potent competitor to the new face-lifted market leader Toyota Fortuner.
