Facelifted Datsun Go and Go Plus hatchbacks revealed: Launching soon

Nissan has just revealed the facelifted versions of the Datsun Go and Go Plus hatchbacks in the Indian market. Bookings for both cars are open at all Nissan and Datsun dealerships with the booking amount pegged at Rs. 11,000. Deliveries will begin right from the day of launch.
Both cars get visual makeovers and a range of new features to make them fresher and more appealing to prospective buyers. Safety features have been added while there are two new colours as well. Mechanically, both cars remain unchanged, and are powered by the 1.2 liter-3 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with 67 Bhp-104 Nm on tap. The gearbox is a 5 speed manual. There is no automatic gearbox available, even as an option.
Talking of changes, both cars get revised front end styling, with new bumpers, revised grilles and LED DRLs. At the rear as well, the bumpers get a redesign. On the inside, the dashboard gets a full redesign, there’s a new instrument cluster and the top-end variants of both the Datsun Go and Go Plus get a touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This is a best-in-class feature, meant to make the facelifted Datsun Go and Go Plus better than competition.
There are new 14 inch alloy wheels on offer, and on the inside, the upholstery and colour schemes have changed. As for the new safety features that have been added, twin airbags, ABS+EBD, reverse parking sensors, driver seat belt reminder and follow-me-home headlamps are now standard across the range.
The facelifted Datsun Go and Go Plus hatchbacks are likely to get pricier thanks to the multiple changes. While the Go will retain a five seat layout, the Go Plus will continue to have a stationwagon form factor, with seating for seven. Over to the launch now.
