Facelifted Datsun Go & Go Plus launched in India

Bang in the middle of India’s festive season, Nissan has launched the facelifted versions of the Go hatchback and Go Plus 7 seat station wagon. Both cars get visual makeovers and revamped interiors with additional features. However, they remain mechanically unchanged. Prices start from Rs. 3.29 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi, for the facelifted Datsun Go. Prices of the Go Plus start from Rs. 3.83 lakhs. The Go Plus is one of the most affordable 7 seat cars sold in India.
Coming to the exterior changes on both the cars, they receive reprofiled headlights, a new front grille, reprofiled front bumper with LED daytime running lights integrated, taller 14-inch alloy wheels, wash and wipe functions for the rear windshield, a new rear bumper and reverse parking sensors.
On the inside, both cars get revamped dashboards, which now look a lot more trendier than the older units. The AC vents get a redesign and so does the center console. There is a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support as a prominent new feature on the top-end trims.
Both the Datsun Go and Go Plus now get additional features such as electrically adjustable wing mirrors, rear power windows, a new instrument cluster and an analog tachometer. Safety gets a big leg up with ABS and twin airbags now becoming standard across the variant line up.
Interiors on the 2018 Datsun Go+ receive a complete overhaul. The car gets a revised layout for the dashboard with redesigned AC vents and centre console, and a lockable glovebox. Features include a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, electrically adjustable mirror, rear power windows and a revised instrument cluster with an analogue tachometer. Other standard safety features on the cars include a speed alert system, rear parking sensors and seat belt reminders for the front passengers.
