Hyundai has just launched the facelifted Creta compact SUV in India. Prices of the Hyundai Creta Facelift start from Rs. 9.43 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. The facelifted Hyundai Creta has already reached most dealerships and deliveries will start from today itself. Bookings for the facelifted Creta are now open across all Hyundai dealerships in India. The compact SUV is a best seller, and the facelifted model is likely to continue the good run.
In terms of changes, the facelifted Hyundai Creta gets an electric sunroof, a smart band key, two new colours: Passion Orange and Marina Blue, revised looks on the outside, mildly refreshed interiors, new feature additions such as wireless phone charging, a power adjustable driver’s seat, a new instrument cluster, cruise control and a sliding driver’s armrest.
The engines and gearbox options on the facelifted Creta remain unchanged from the pre-facelift model. The petrol engine is a 1.6 litre, naturally aspirated unit with 121 Bhp-151 Nm. It’s offered with 6 speed manual and torque converter automatic gearboxes. The diesel engines are 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre turbocharged, 4 cylinder units. The smaller diesel produces 89 Bhp and 220 Nm while the larger one makes 126 Bhp-260 Nm.
Both diesel engines get 6 speed manual transmissions as standard while the larger engine also gets a 6 speed torque converter automatic option. As for visual changes on the outside, the facelifted Hyundai Creta gets a new grille and bumper up front, making it look sharper than before. Other changes to the front end include projector headlamps and LED DRLs with position lamps. There are skid plates on both the bumpers while the alloy wheels are diamond cut, 17 inch units. Overall, the Creta Facelift looks a lot fresher, and the changes should be enough to carry the SUV towards its full model change in 2020. The compact SUV is now available in 13 variants: 6 in petrol and 7 in diesel. Here are the variant-wise prices of the compact SUV.
