Tesla has officially entered the Indian market earlier this year. Soon the American electric automobile giant will start selling its models officially in the Indian market. However, there are many Indians who already own a Tesla. While some of the Indians own a Tesla outside India, many others have imported the vehicle in the country too. Here is a list of popular Indians who own a Tesla car.
Mukesh Ambani
Tesla Model S 100D
Without a doubt, the garage of the Ambani family is one of the most diversified in the country. The Ambani have two Tesla cars. The first one they got is the Tesla Model S 100D. The high-performance Tesla sedan is powered by multiple electric motors that generate a combined power of 423 PS and a peak torque of 660 Nm. The car can do 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. It can do an electronically-limited top speed of 249 km/h. The Model S 100D has a claimed range of 495 km.

Tesla Model X 100D
The Ambani family imported its second Tesla last year. The Model X is an SUV and it does not come out of the garage much. The white coloured Model X is also the high-performance 100D variant. It gets three electric motors that produce a combined output of 250 PS and peak torque of 330 Nm. The Model X 100D is an AWD can and can do 475 km on a full charge.
Prashant Ruia
Tesla Model X
Prashant Ruia is the CEO of Essar conglomerate in India. He became one of the first owners of Tesla cars in India and the first celebrity owner of the model in the country. Ruia imported the vehicle to India way back in 2017 and since then, he has been spotted driving the Tesla all by himself on many occasions. The exact variant of the vehicle remains unknown but the electric blue colour of the Model X does attract a lot of eyes.
Riteish Deshmukh
Tesla Model X
Bollywood actor received the Tesla Model X as a gift from his wife Genelia D’Souza sometime back. The car is not in India and it is located in a left-hand-drive country. Riteish did not reveal that country where he owns the car though. The red coloured Tesla Model X looks quite interesting. Riteish has only one picture with the car till now.
Pooja Batra
Tesla Model 3
Pooja Batra owns the entry-level Model 3 sedan from Tesla. Former Miss India Pacific and actress owns the car in the USA. Pooja Batra seems to absolutely love her Tesla and she drives it regularly too. The Model 3 is an entry-level family sedan aimed at families. It remains quite quick though. According to Tesla, the Model 3 can do 0-100 km/h in just 5 seconds.
