First all-new Hyundai Verna sedan delivered, in a unique Tellurian Brown colour [Video]

The launch of the latest version of the popular mid-size sedan, the 2023 Verna, from South Korean carmaker Hyundai, has taken the entire nation by storm. The sedan has gained significant popularity in the country. Hyundai has equipped the Verna with almost every feature imaginable and then some more, making it a strong contender to become the segment champion. Recently, a video showcasing an all-new 2023 Verna, finished in a unique shade of Tellurian Brown, delivered to a dealership, was shared on YouTube.

The video of the Tellurian Brown Hyundai Verna was uploaded by 48 AutoMobiles on their YouTube channel. The video begins with several beauty shots of the new sedan from all angles. The presenter then begins at the front of the car, introducing it by showing the newly designed key and stating that the model in front is the SX variant of the Turbo GDI lineup, costing Rs 14.83 lakh (ex-showroom). He then shows the car from the front, displaying the long connected LED DRL and all-LED headlights with cornering lights. He also mentions the new parametric grille and its dark chrome elements.

Following this, he states that the pricing of the car starts from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 17.37 lakh (ex-showroom). He then reveals that the all-new 2023 Verna comes with two different petrol-powered powertrains, as Hyundai has ditched the reliable old diesel mill. The less powerful 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine model is available in six variants, while the more powerful 1.5L Turbo GDI petrol engine model comes in four variants. The model in the video is the entry-level variant of the Turbo GDI lineup.

He then shows the car from a side angle and mentions that the car has 16-inch alloy wheels finished in black. The presenter also specifies the car’s dimensions: the new Verna has a length of 4535 mm, a width of 1765 mm, a height of 1475 mm, and a wheelbase of 2670 mm. The car also has a ground clearance of 170 mm, and the 2023 Verna has the biggest wheelbase of any car in the mid-size sedan segment. The car also has a boot size of 528 L, which is quite spacious.

Regarding safety features, the car will come equipped with over 30 standard safety features, and its total suite of safety features will consist of over 65 advanced safety features. The major highlights of safety tech in the 2023 Verna include 6-Airbags (Driver, Passenger, Side & Curtain), ESC (Electronic Stability Control) with VSM, Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), All Disc Brakes EPB (electric parking brake), Front parking sensors, ECM (electrochromic mirror), Cornering Lamps, TPMS (Highline), along with Hyundai SmartSense.

The turbocharged variants of the Verna will have an all-black color scheme with red highlights on the AC vents, while the naturally aspirated variants will have a dual-tone black and beige dashboard for seats. The dashboard of the top-end variant will have features like an electronic parking brake with auto-hold for the DCT automatic variants. The manual transmission variants will offer the regular manual handbrake. The top-end variant will also come with 10.25-inch dual screens that work as an infotainment system and an instrument cluster.
