The CLA-Class has new age looks and is without doubt a very “Snazzy” looking coupe. Its looks are sporty yet svelte and elegant. It looks as much as home on a race track as it does on city streets. It borrows its underpinnings from the new A-Class hatchback and has much more than just it’s looking going for it. The CLA-Class will be sold in the US in its CLA250 variant which should later be followed up with the CLA45 AMG variant.
It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder, motor that belts out a massive 208 Bhp and 350 Nm of torque! Helping in making it visually more appealing are 17 inch alloy wheels for the CLA250 and 18 inch alloy wheels for the variants with the Sport package. On the inside the CLA is luxurious and feels plush like a Mercedes should. It comes with Anthracite trims as standard but you can also opt for Wood and Aluminum trims. In terms of features you get a 5.8-inch multimedia display, while a larger seven-inch screen is optional. It is equipped with Mercedes Benz’s MBrace2 cloud-based connectivity service, optional heated seats, satellite radio and dual-zone climate control to name a few others. It is expected to be priced at around $35,000 in the US which is close to Rs.20 lakh.
