Ford Ecosport to Renault Duster: Ford, Renault & Nissan discounts in March 2019

To drive buyers towards their cars, manufacturers like Ford, Nissan and Renault are offering pretty decent discounts.

Ford

Freestyle

Max. Discount: Rs. 40,000 + Warranty

The Ford Freestyle rivals the likes of Tata Tiago NRG and Fiat Avventura among others in the cross-hatch segment. It is getting a pretty decent discount scheme on it this month, amounting to more than Rs. 40,000. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback of Rs. 20,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000. A further Rs. 5,000 is offered as an exchange bonus upon exchanging your old Ford car. Ford is also offering a free 3rd-year warranty on the car, which takes the discount value further up.

Aspire

Max. Discount: Rs. 40,000 

The sedan version of the Figo hatchback too is getting decent discounts this month. The discount schemes offered on the car this month add up to Rs. 40,000. The offers on the car include a direct cashback of Rs. 20,000 along with an additional exchange bonus worth Rs. 15,000. Ford is offering a further Rs. 5,000 on the Aspire this March as an exchange bonus upon exchanging your old Ford car.

Ecosport

Max. Discount: Rs. 40,000 + Warranty

The ford Ecosport was among the first compact SUVs to be offered in the market and still commands a decent share of the segment. As for the discounts, it is being offered with a total discount value of more than Rs. 40,000 this month. The offer includes Rs. 20,000 as direct cash discount along with Rs. 15,000 as exchange bonus. A further Rs. 5,000 is offered as an exchange bonus upon exchanging your old Ford car. Ford is also offering a free 3rd-year warranty on the car, which is icing on the overall scheme.

Renault

Kwid

Max. Discount: Warranty + 0 Interest rate

The Kwid is among the models that have kept Renault afloat in the Indian auto market. It was a very strong seller some time back and even though sales have slipped quite a bit from previous months, it still sells in a respectable number. The discount scheme available on the Kwid is more of a gradual benefit rather than an immidiate benefit. The company is offering an extended warranty for 3rd and 4 Year on the car. If you are in a mood to take a loan for the car, the company is offering a 0% interest rate scheme calculated on loan of Rs 2.05 Lakh for 18-month tenure. Apart from this, there is an additional Rs. 2,000 worth of corporate discount being offered with the Kwid this month.

Duster

Max. Discount: Rs. 50,000 approx

The Renault Duster was one of the biggest sellers initially but the increasing competition and lack of a solid refresh/facelift strategy from Renault have led to a decrease in its sales. As for the discounts, the compact SUV is being offered with discounts approximately worth Rs. 50,000. this includes a free 1st year insurance cover along with an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. On top of this, the company is also offering a corporate discount worth Rs. 5,000 on the car this month. However, the discount scheme is applicable only on the diesel-powered variants.

Lodgy

Max. Discount: Rs. 30,000

The MPV from Renault’s stable in the form of the Lodgy is being given away with smaller discount benefits this month. However, the discount available is applicable on the 2019 make model which to some extent describes the drop in discount. Talking of which, the discount scheme on the car includes a direct cashback worth Rs. 30,000 on the Std and Rxe variants. The Stepway variant, on the other hand, is being given away with a free first-year insurance cover. An additional Rs. 5,000 is also offered as a coporate bonus.

Captur

Max. discount: Rs. 1 lakh plus

The Renault Captur is being offered with a huge discount this March. The total discount amount is much more than Rs. 1 lakh figure. The discount scheme on the car includes a direct cashback of Rs.80,000 along with a 0% Interest Rate on a loan amount of Rs. 8 Lakh for a tenure of 2 years. So if you take a loan for buying the Captur, the deal gets quite attractive.

Nissan

Micra

Max Discount: Rs. 1 lakh

The Micra is Nissan’s answer to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Ford Figo among others. The car did well when it was first launched but sales have continuously been low ever since. As for the discounts, The Micra is currently getting a flat discount worth Rs. 1 lakh. However, the offer is applicable only on the top-spec XV CVT model of 2018 make. Sunny

Max. Discount: Rs. 1.28 lakhs

The Nissan sunny offers best in class rear seat space in its segment. It has a start price of Rs. 6.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and at that price point, its only proper competitor is the Toyota Etios. As for the discount scheme, Nissan is currently offering the Sunny with a flat Rs. 1.28 lakh discount. The discount scheme, however, only applies to the top end XV CVT variant of 2018 make. The XV trim, as on the Micra, is the fully loaded top end model with a touchscreen, rear view camera, alloy wheels, push-button ignition among other standard safety, convenience, styling features
