Key exterior features of the new EcoSport Titanium S variants include 17-inch alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, smoked headlamps with HIDs, smoked fog lamps, blacked out grille and contrast paint finish for the roof and wing mirrors. The EcoSport Titanium S variants will sit right at the very top of the compact SUV’s line-up, with a price tag higher than that of the Titanium + model.

As for features on the inside, the Ford EcoSport Titanium S variant will get orange highlights on the seats and door pads along with ‘S’ badging. A 4.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford’s SYNC interface will be standard. As for safety features, the EcoSport Titanium S variant will get a Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The Signature Edition – another new top-end variant will get a rear spoiler, blue interior trim and seat stitching, electronic stability control (ESC) and Hill Launch Assist (HLA).

Six airbags will also be standard on both new top-end trims of the Ford EcoSport. The Titanium S variant will get a 1 litre-3 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 125 Bhp of peak power and 170 Nm of peak torque on tap. The gearbox will be a 6-speed manual unit. The EcoSport S trim will also benefit from a stiffer suspension set-up, meant to improve high speed handling. Ford’s engineers will have a tightrope to walk though as the suspension can’t be made too stiff.
