Ford Endeavour is one of the popular full size SUV in the country. It competes with cars like Toyota Fortuner, Isuzu MU-X and MG Gloster in the segment. Just like other SUVs in this segment, Ford Endeavour is also a very capable SUV. We have seen several videos of Ford Endeavour doing off-roading on the internet. It is also a very popular SUV among the customers for its butch look and mod potential. We have several wild-looking modified examples in India and have also featured some on our website as well. Here we have a video where a Ford Endeavour 3.2 SUV is installed with massive 24 inch alloy wheels.
The video has been uploaded by BANKS CUSTOM on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about all the modifications that have been done to the SUV. Vlogger starts by telling that the owner of this SUV has a special love for the colour black and that is why the Endeavour has the same shade. Owner has done ceramic coating to the SUV and it looks pretty good.
The owner has only done subtle modifications to the body of the car. The car gets an all-black treatment which elevates the overall look. The front grill remains stock but, the silver and chrome garnish on the grille has been removed and it now gets a gloss black finish. The skid plate which was in silver colour also has been painted in black. Even the Ford logo on the front grille gets a smoked effect.
The headlights remains the same as original with projector type lamps and LED DRLs. Side profile of the car is where things change drastically. The original alloy wheels on the SUV has been replaced with a massive 24 inch alloy wheel from Venice brand. The 5 spoke alloy wheel which is finished in chrome goes well with the Endeavour and gives it a proper American SUV like look. The alloy wheels are wrapped in low profile tyres and this new setup would have definitely affect the ride quality of the SUV.
The 24 inch alloy wheels are actually massive and that has increased the ground clearance of the SUV as well. The footboard has also been removed which elevates the look. Vlogger mentions that the owner did not install any spacers to install these massive wheels. The chrome garnish on the side fender also gets a smoked effect. Coming to the rear, the tail lamps remain stock but, the chrome applique on the boot gets a smoked effect.
The rear bumper on this Ford Endeavour has also been blacked out completely. On the inside, the interiors are left stock. Ford Endeavour seen here is an old 3.2 litre turbo charged diesel engine. The engine generates 197 Bhp and 470 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission. It is a proper SUV with 4WD system. This version is not available in the market currently. The Ford Endeavour SUV is now available with a new BS6 compliant engine. It is now powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine. This new engine generates 167 Bhp and 420 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 10 speed automatic transmission as standard.
