Ford launched the Endeavour Sport in the Indian market last month. The new all-black SUV comes with a price tag of Rs 35.1 lakh, ex-showroom and it comes with a tagline of “strike a balance between their routine lives and more adventurous side of their personality, which they rarely explore.” On similar lines, Ford has released a new TVC that shows the Endeavour Sport’s owners balancing act in life. Here is the TVC.
The Ford Endeavour Sport comes in an all-black colour. It gets a new ebony black grille, while the parts like chrome monikers on the fenders and silver skid plates have now all become black. That’s not all. It also gets smoked headlamps, ebony black ORVMs and black fender grille, dark inserts on the side steppers, and ebony black alloy wheels and roof rails. Even the Ford Endeavour’s nameplate is an all-black colour. The SUV also gets a Sport decal on the doors and tailgate.

Feature-wise, it remains identical to the regular Endeavour. The list is quite long too. It gets a massive panoramic sunroof, rear and front parking sensors, dual-zone climate control system, eight-way electrically adjustable front seats, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Google Auto, active noise cancellation, Ford Pass connectivity suite, and plenty of more options. It also gets seven airbags, ESC, traction control, tyre pressure monitor, hill descent control and more. Since this is the top-of-the-line variant, it also comes with hands-free parking, cruise control, hands-free tailgate operation, Ford’s Terrain Management system and more.
Mechanically, it remains untouched too. The Endeavour Sport comes powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that develops a maximum power of 168 Bhp and peak torque of 420 Nm. Ford only offers a ten-speed torque converter automatic transmission, which is a first in the Indian market. The 4X4 system is standard and you can choose from various terrain modes like Normal, Snow/Mud/Grass, Sand and Rock. It is a very capable SUV and gets a water-wading depth of 800mm.
The Ford Endeavour takes on the likes of Mahindra Alturas, Toyota Fortuner and newly launched MG Gloster. Ford Endeavour is one of the most popular SUVs in the Indian market.
