Ford India recently launched a new version of EcoSport in the market. It is actually not a facelift but, a variant that is different from the one that was sold in India before. The newly introduced version is known as EcoSport SE and it is offered without a spare wheel mounted on the tail gate. The regular version with spare wheel mounted on tail gate is known as the S variant. Ford EcoSport is one of those SUVs that had started the trend of sub-4 meter compact SUVs in the market. Ford has now released a brand new TVC for the newly introduced SE variant of the EcoSport.
The video has been uploaded by Ford India on their official YouTube channel. The newly introduced SE variant features design cues borrowed from its American & European peers, where the compact SUV is sold without a rear-mounted spare wheel. The new TVC released by Ford shows the difference between both the variant and type of customers they are targeting.

In the TVC Ford features a pair of identical twins and shows the challenges that they face in a humorous way. Although, they were identical twins they both had individual personalities but, people were treating them alike and the twins finally get tired of it. Then they finally find EcoSport SE and EcoSport S that look the same but are different. Even the TVC that Ford has released now is known as Same Same, But Different – respects the no compromise attitude of Ford customers, yet acknowledging a need for distinction in their choices.
Rahul Gautam, vice president Marketing, at Ford India said,
At Ford, we are committed to meet the diverse needs of our customers and offer a product line up that delivers what they want and value, just like the EcoSport S and SE. Our latest television campaign using twin siblings’ reference also reflects this commitment and shows how EcoSport S & SE celebrate two different customer personalities while offering the best of safety, comfort and fun of driving.
