Ford launches EcoSport Signature edition

Festive season in India sees a major rise in sales in India. In a bid to attract more customers and make the product line-up more trendy, Ford has announced a new signature edition of the EcoSport with many visual changes.

What is it?

The Signature edition gets many new accessories in addition to the current equipment. The variant is based on the Black Titanium trim of the EcoSport that features all-black interiors along with black grille and blacked out moulded headlamps.

To start with, the limited Signature edition gets all-new LED daytime running lamps in form of 5 LED placed below the fog lamp. The Signature edition now looks much more bolder with front and rear bumper appliqués that are in contrasting silver colour.

The car now also announces its presence with new body graphics with EcoSport branding on it. Furthermore, the car also gets premium features like bright, illuminated scuff plates and new seat covers. The seat covers are black vinyl with contrasting red stitching.

The Black Titanium edition that the Signature edition is based on gets features like 16-inch black alloy wheels, black mirror covers, black fog lamp bezel, and black roof rails and roof cross bars. The new variant looks very appealing with the new changes and will surely push the sales of the EcoSport during the festive season.

What else?

Ford has kept the changes limited to the visual ones, which means engine remains untouched. The new edition is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The diesel engine is a 98.6 BHP producing 1.5-litre TDCi engine that returns a maximum fuel efficiency of 22.27 km/l. The petrol one is 110.5 BHP 1.5-litre TiVCT engine that returns a maximum efficiency of 15.85 km/l.

Price?

Ford says the price of new accessories that includes the price of the accessories and the labour cost is Rs. 37,894. The Signature edition itself is available for Rs. 9,26,194 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
