Ford offers Rs. 58,000 discount of the Figo Aspire sedan

Ford Figo Aspire, the sedan based on the Figo hatchback is currently available at a discount of Rs. 58,000. The discounts vary on the variants and the minimum discount that can be availed is Rs. 19,650. The deal is applicable until the end of this month.

The discount includes cash discounts, exchange bonus and loyalty bonus. Customers can get up to Rs. 26,200 as an exchange bonus on the vehicle. However, if the customer is exchanging a non-Ford car, the exchange bonus is limited to Rs. 19,650. The loyalty bonus comes in the form of free third year extended warranty.

Ford Figo Aspire takes on the likes of Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and Honda Amaze in the market. It is a highly competitive segment where the Figo Aspire failed to attract customers. Ford is also planning to launch the facelift version of the Figo hatchback this year. The same changes will be carried over to the Figo Aspire sedan too.

The new price should give a boost to the sales of the vehicle. The vehicle is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 86.8 Bhp and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that generates a maximum of 98.6 Bhp. There is also a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum of 110 Bhp and 136 Nm. It is only offered with a twin-clutch automatic transmission. Ford also offers a sporty variant of the Figo Aspire in the form of Aspire S. The car gets a stiffer suspension for the enthusiasts.

On the safety front, the car gets up to six airbags, ABS and EBD depending on the variants. The car also gets SYNC infotainment system that has a small mono-colour screen.

The new Aspire is scheduled to launch later this year and the car has been caught testing too. It will get an all-new floating type infotainment system like the EcoSport and updated exteriors.
