Hero MotoCorp has launched three new bikes today in the X-Series. The launch includes the highly-awaited XPulse 200, XPulse 200T and the fully-faired version of the Hero Xtreme 200R, which gets the name Hero Xtreme 200T. Here is a detailed gallery of all the three bikes launched today by India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer.
Hero XPulse 200
The XPulse 200 is available in two versions – carburetted and Fuel injected. The carburetted version of the bike is priced at Rs. 97,000 and the fuel-injected version is priced at Rs 1.05 lakh.
The XPulse 200 gets 21-inch spoked front rim and smaller 17-inch rear rim. Both the wheels get dual purpose tyres.
The exhaust gets heat shield all over to protect the rider’s legs from the heat.
It gets an all-LED front headlamp, knuckle guard, front suspension dust cover. The engine is protected by a strong bash plate.
The high-mounted exhaust ensures a high ground clearance and makes the bike really rugged. It also allows the XPulse 200 to go through deep water crossings without any problem.
The XPulse is available in a total of five colours. Two colours are available with the carburetted version while the fuel injected version will get three colours.
The Xpulse gets an all-LED sleek tail lamp set-up.
The bike gets powered by a 199.6cc engine that generates a maximum of 18.4 PS and peak torque of 17.1 Nm. The power output of both carburetted and fuel injected versions remain the same.
The standard luggage rack will come in handy for the long-distance tourers.
Both XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T get fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It also gets side-stand warning, service reminder, call alert, text alert and turn-by-turn navigation.
Hero XPulse 200T
The Hero XPulse 200T is priced at Rs 94,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
The XPulse 200T alloy wheels with road-biased tyres. It also gets an engine bash plate at the bottom.
The absent visor offers a cleaner look to the bike and the instrument console is designed in a way that front of the bike looks quite aggressive.
The exhaust of the bike is at the regular position and it gets a flat seat. Even the XPulse 200T gets a rear luggage rack.
The rear tail lamp of the XPulse 200T is similar to the XPulse 200.
The bike looks quite good from all the angles and will target the long distance touring enthusiasts.
The XPulse 200T is available with four colour options including a Matte colour.
The instrument clusters of both the bikes are identical and offer the same functionalities.
Hero Xtreme 200S
Hero Xtreme 200S is the fully faired version of the Hero Xtreme 200R and is priced at Rs 98,500, ex-showroom.
Hero Xtreme 200S is a fully faired bike based on the Xtreme 200R. It gets the same engine as the naked sibling.
It is the first bike in the segment to get an all-LED headlamp set-up.
The body is dual-tone with black inserts all over. Even the rear tail lamp gets black inserts adding a rugged look to the bike.
It gets a single seat set-up with rim tapes on the 17-inch alloy wheels. Both the wheels get disc brake but only with a single-channel ABS.
The design of the Hero Xtreme 200S looks busy and the fairing gets deep creases too.
The rear gets LED tail lamps that are very bright.
It gets a single piece handlebar with an all-digital instrument cluster. Even the Xtreme 200S gets Bluetooth connectivity.
The blacked out visor adds a sporty look to the bike.
This is the all-black option of the Xtreme 200S. It is available in four colour options.
