Honda Amaze to Maruti Ciaz: MEGA discounts upto Rs. 1.15 lakhs on sedans

The festive season is on and so is the discount season on cars. Various manufacturers are giving out ludicrous deals in order to make the best out of the season and pull customers towards their delearships. We bring you 14 sedans from the Indian market that are currently being offered with huge discounts.

Honda Amaze

Discount up to Rs. 20,000

With the Amaze, Honda has once again why it is considered as a good brand in India. The Amaze ticks almost all the right boxes and then some. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Ford Aspire competitor is being offered with a Rs 15,000 exchange bonus and Rs 5,000 discount along with complementary addition five-year warranty package. It gets four engine-transmission combinations to choose from– a 90 Bhp, 1.2-litre petrol mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT and a 100 Bhp, 1.5-litre diesel mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT (80 Bhp in CVT).

Volkswagen Ameo

Discount up to Rs. Rs 95,000

Dealerships across the country are now offering cash discounts worth Rs 50,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 on the Ameo Comfortline variant. The Ameo Highline gets a cash discount of Rs 30,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000. There’s also a Rs 15,000 corporate discount on the sedan. The rival to the Ford Aspire, Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze gets powered by a 76 Bhp, 1.0-litre petrol engine which it shares with its hatchback sibling, the Polo. It also gets a more extreme 110 Bhp 1.5-litre diesel with the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Hyundai Xcent

Discount up to Rs. 90,000

Hyundai’s Grand i10-based compact sedan, the Xcent is also being offered with big discounts this season. The car is currently being dished out with a cash discount of Rs 40,000 and a Rs 45,000 exchange bonus. The commercial version, called the Xcent Prime, also gets a cash discount worth Rs 40,000. Along with all this, there’s a cash discount of Rs. 5,000 on offer as corporate discount.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Discount up to Rs. 57,500

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the best selling car of India currently and also the most fuel efficient one. It is now on offer with cash discounts worth Rs 27,500 and an exchange bonus up to Rs 30,000. The sales leader sedan is powered by a 83 Bhp 1.2-litre petrol and a 75 Bhp 1.3-litre diesel engine option. 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT options are also offered as a choice on this car.

 

Tata Tigor

Discount up to Rs. 26,899

 

The recently facelifted Tigor has gotten more stylish now. Tata’s entry into the compact sedan segment is being offered with one year of insurance free (worth Rs 6,899) and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. The Tigor still utilizes the same engines as before the facelift, which are  85 Bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine and 70 Bhp 1.05-litre diesel engine.

 

Toyota Etios

Discount up to Rs. 20,000

The Toyota Etios has one of the most spacious interiors in its segment. The midsize sedan is now available with accessories worth Rs 20,000. It comes with a 90 Bhp 1.5-litre petrol and a 68 Bhp 1.4-litre diesel engine. The Etios faces rivalry from the likes of Mahindra Verito and Fiat Linea Classic.

Nissan Sunny

Discount up to Rs. 72,000

The Nissan Sunny never happened to see some Sunny days in terms of sales. The spacious midsize sedan has some unique offers going on if you buy the car now. This includes a 3g gold coin, a Rs 60,000 exchange bonus, one-year free insurance and a special Rs 12,000 discount for government employees. The Sunny gets two engine options, a 99 Bhp 1.5-litre petrol (mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT) and an 86 Bhp, 1.5-litre diesel (paired to a 5-speed manual).

Volkswagen Vento

Discount up to Rs. Rs 1.15 lakh

Volkswagen’s Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna rival is now now being offered with a Rs 60,000 cash discount and a Rs 40,000 exchange bonus. The offer is applicable on select variants and there’s also a Rs. 15,000 corporate discount on the sedan. The Vento gets four engine-gearbox combinations – a 105 Bhp 1.6-litre petrol with a 5-speed manual, a 110 Bhp 1.5-litre diesel with either a 5-speed manual or 7-speed DSG, and a 105 Bhp 1.2-litre turbo-petrol with a 7-speed DSG.

 

Toyota Yaris

Discount up to Rs. 60,000

The Toyota Yaris is being offered with a Rs 20,000 cash discount along with a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus. The Japanese carmaker’s Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna rival is also getting an extra Rs. 10,000 off as corporate discount. Unlike its competition, the Yaris is the only midsize sedan to be offered with just a petrol engine – the 107hp, 1.5-litre motor mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic.

 

Hyundai Verna

Discount up to Rs. 85,000

The Hyundai Verna is the most feature packed car of its class. The smartly-styled sedan is being given away with big discounts by Hyundai. This includes a Rs 65,000 cash discount and a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus. The Honda City and Toyota Yaris rival comes with a 100 Bhp 1.4-litre petrol, a 123 Bhp 1.6-litre petrol and a 128 Bhp 1.6-litre diesel engine. All come mated to a 6-speed manual stick, though the 1.6-litre motors also get the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Honda City

Discount up to Rs. 30,000

The Honda City is one of the oldest running B-segment sedan in India. Currently, it’s available with a year’s worth of complementary insurance, a Rs 20,000 exchange offer and additional accessories worth Rs 10,000 as a part of the festive season celebration by Honda. Though its sales have plummeted from some time, the City is still a worthy rival to the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna. It gets powered by a 119 Bhp, 1.5-litre petrol and a 100 Bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol variant is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic, the diesel gets a 6-speed manual as standard.

 

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Discount up to Rs. 25,000

The Ciaz has become the best selling B-segment sedan of the country, overthrowing the likes of Hyundai Verna and Honda City behind. The recently updated Ciaz gets Rs 15,000 exchange bonus, along with a corporate discount worth 10,000. The car comes with a new mild-hybrid tech on the 1.5 litre petrol engine good enough for 105 Bhp.

 

 

Hyundai Elantra

The stylish C-segment sedan, Hyundai Elantra is not behind in terms of discounts being offered. The company is currently offering the car with a Rs 60,000 exchange bonus and a year’s worth of free insurance, making it a great value pack. The Elantra gets powered by a 152 Bhp 2.0-litre petrol motor or a 128 Bhp 1.6-litre diesel engine. Both the engines come mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox options.

Toyota Corolla Altis

Discount up to Rs. 95,000

Toyota Corolla Altis is one of the best sellers in its segment worldwide. The Skoda Octavia and Hyundai Elantra fighter is coming with a cash discount of Rs 35,000 along with a Rs 20,000 exchange offer. There’s also a Rs 40,000 corporate discount on offer.. The Corolla Altis comes with a 140 Bhp 1.8-litre petrol a   nd an 88 Bhp, 1.4-litre diesel engine. Both the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual and the petrol has an option of a CVT as well.
