Honda Amaze to Toyota Innova: Honda & Toyota cars selling at HEFTY discounts in March 2019

The auto industry has witnessed a sales slowdown since the past couple of months. For the same, manufacturers have been dishing regular discounts on their model lineup in order to attract customers towards their dealerships. Among the various manufacturers, Honda and Toyota too are offering attractive discounts and schemes on their range of cars. If you have been planning to get a car from either of these companies, here is a full laydown of the discounts listed model wise.

Honda

Amaze

Max. Discount: Rs. 20k exchange + extended warranty for 4th and 5th year

The Amaze has become the top-selling car for Honda and is the second best selling compact sedan in the country, second to only the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The compact sedan is getting attractive discount schemes this month. The discount offers on the car include an exchange bonus worth Rs. 20,000 along with extended warranty for 4th and 5th year on the car. Apart from this, the company is also offering a corporate discount for select MNC and government employees. However, if you don’t want to exchange your car, Honda is offering a 3 Year Service Maintenance Package apart from the additional warranty mentioned above.

Jazz

Max. Discount: Rs. 35,000 approx.

The Honda Jazz is a premium hatchback which competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Hyundai i20 in the segment. It has a very versatile and spacious cabin and being a Honda, comes with solid build quality. The car is running on decent discounts this month which include free first-year insurance along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 20,000. Apart from this, the company is also offering a corporate discount for select MNC and government employees

WR-V petrol

Max. Discount: Rs. 35,000 approx

The Honda WR-V is a stylish crossover entry by the company. It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Tata Nexon in its segment. However, it does not attract big sales number and for the same is being offered with decent discounts this month. The discount scheme on the car includes a free first insurance cover along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 17,000. Apart from this, the company is also offering a corporate discount for select MNC and government employees.

City

Max. Discount: Rs. 60,000 approx

The Honda City is among the best selling C-segment sedan in India and is also the oldest among the lot. The stylish sedan is getting good offers this month and the total discount value on it is approximately up to Rs. 60,000. the discount offer running on the car include free first-year insurance along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 30,000. The company is also offering Rs. 10,000 worth of genuine accessories along with a corporate discount for select MNC and government employees.

BR-V

Max. Discount: Rs. 85,000

The Honda BR-V is being offered with discounts approximately worth Rs. 85,000. The Hyundai Creta Rival is a stylish SUV-crossover but hasn’t received much buyer attention. Talking of discount schemes applicable to the car, the company is offering a free first-year insurance cover on the vehicle along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 50,000. Honda genuine accesories worth Rs. 16,000 are also on offer along with a corporate discount for select MNC and government employees.

 

Toyota

Etios

Max. Discount: Rs. 38,000

The Toyota Etios is a pretty decent sedan and can be an alternate choice for someone who does not want a sub-compact sedan but also doesn’t want to shell loads of money to get a proper C-segment sedan like the Honda City. It is currently getting discount benefits worth up to Rs. 38,000. This drives down its prices even low. The Etios offers good space for its asking price and can be looked upon as an option if you are going for a sedan around Rs. 7-8 lakh price mark.

Yaris

Max. Discount: Rs. 1.34 lakh

The Yaris has not been able to gather enough buyers despite Toyota’s earnest attempts. For the same, it is now being offered with a huge discount of up to Rs. 1.34 lakhs. The J manual model is getting a discount of Rs 25,000 upon financing the car apart from Rs 20,000 worth of exchange bonus and Rs 20,000 worth of corporate discount. For the Yaris J CVT, there is a discount of Rs 42,000 upon financing the car along with an additional Rs. 20,000 as exchange bonus. Apart from this, there is a corporate discount worth Rs. 20,000 also on offer, taking the total discount sum to Rs. 82,000.

A bigger Rs. 1.34 lakh discount is being given away on the Yaris V variant. The discount scheme here includes Rs. 84,000 benefit upon financing the car along with Rs. 20,000 as exchange bonus and an extra Rs. 30,000 as a corporate discount.

Innova Crysta

Max. Discount: Rs. 45,000

The Toyota Innova Crysta is arguably the best MPV on sale in India currently. It is known for its luxurious interiors and excellent cabin space apart from solid build quality. As for the discounts available on the MPV, Toyota is currently offering benefits worth Rs. 45,000 on the Innova Crysta. There also some special benefits for corporate government PSU and bank employees

Corolla Altis

Max. Discount: Rs. 70,000

The current generation Corolla will soon be replaced by a newer generation model. It has already been released in various international markets and is bigger, more powerful along with being more smarter than the current generation model. Toyota is offering discounts worth Rs. 70,000 on the car right now which makes it an attractive choice in the segment. There also some special benefits for corporate government PSU and bank employees which further sweetens the deal.
