Almost every manufacturer in the country is offering huge discounts on their models in India. The main reason behind all this discount offer is to clear the old stock or that is left with the dealerships. Another big reason is the upcoming BS6 emission norms that will come into effect from 1st April 2020. Japanese car manufacturer Honda cars are also offering huge discounts on their select models because of the above mentioned reasons.
Honda had launched the latest generation Civic in India last year after a very long gap. It is a premium sedan that competes with cars like Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla Altis and so on. It comes with both petrol and diesel engine option. The petrol version is powered by a 1.8 litre unit, whereas the diesel gets a 1.6 litre engine. The petrol engine gets a CVT and the diesel is only available with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Honda is currently offerring a maximum discount of Rs 2 lakh which includes cash discounts, exchange bonus and extended warranty.
Honda BR-V is a compact crossover SUV that competes with cars like Hyundai Creta in the segment. It is a good looking vehicles but for various reasons, failed to grab buyers attention. It comes with a 1.5 litre petrol engine which is also offered with a CVT gearbox. The 1.5 litre diesel engine of the BR-V however gets manual gearbox only. Honda is currently offering a cash discount of Rs 1 lakh and an additional exchange bonus of Rs 90,000 on S MT and Vx MT trims.
Honda will soon be launching the nex-generation City in the Indian market. Honda had also launched BS6 petrol version of the City in the market recently. Current generation City is also powered by a 1.5 litre petrol and diesel engines and is currently attracting discounts. The Vx and Zx trim of the sedan gets a cash discount of Rs 37,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000. The Sv and V trim get an exchange bonus worth Rs 25,000 and 20,000 respectively.
The cross-hatchback car from Japanese manufacturer has been doing good numbers for the brand. It is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. Honda is offering a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus worth Rs 15,000. Honda’s premium hatchback Jazz and compact sedan Amaze is also getting an exchange bonus worth Rs 20,000. Honda Amaze also gets a 5-year warranty plan as part of the offer.
