Finally, after months of anticipation, the Japanese automotive giant Honda Cars India has finally launched the all-new mid-size SUV Elevate in India. The company has launched this new SUV with a starting introductory price of Rs 10.99 lakh for the base variant and it will go up to Rs 15.99 lakh for the top-spec variant. This brand-new SUV will be offered by Honda in 4 variants. These variants will be namely SV, V, VX, and ZX. The company commenced the reservations for the Elevate a while ago, and the cars have already started arriving at dealerships.
Exterior
In terms of the design, Honda has taken a different approach in comparison to the other players in the mid-size SUV segment. The company has given this brand-new SUV a much more squarish and upright stance. The company has gone with a muscular, bold yet classy design for the exterior of the Elevate. On the front, the Elevate features a massive rectangular grille with black elements. The car gets a thick strip of chrome above the grille and all-LED headlights. The grille is also encased in a black surround. The Elevate also gets fog lamps on the sides, and it also gets a silver skid plate on the bottom of the simple front bumper.

Coming to the side profile of the car, the Honda Elevate continues its strong yet classy design. It features black claddings on the fenders, chrome on the door handles, and lower window trim. The side profile is highlighted with the availability of 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Next up on the rear, the car gets a set of LED taillights that feature a boomerang shape. The middle portion gets a black garnish with the Honda logo in the middle. The lower bumper is simple and is mostly black but comes equipped with a silver skid plate.
Color options
Honda is offering the Elevate with monotone color options namely Phoenix Orange, Obsidian Blue, Radiant Red, Platinum White, Golden Brown, Meteoroid Gray, and Lunar Silver. Additionally, the dual-tone color options consist of Phoenix Orange with a Crystal Black roof, Radiant Red with a Crystal Black roof, and Platinum White with a Crystal Black roof.
Interior
Moving on to the interior side of things on the all-new Honda Elevate. The mid-size SUV has a very modern yet classy-looking interior. There are just the right amount of buttons and screens with the dual-tone finish with black and tan; it looks unique. The top half of the dashboard is black, and the lower half is tan and black. The middle portion of the Elevate’s dashboard gets wood trim which adds to the overall allure of this interior. The steering wheel of the car has been taken directly from the Honda City sedan. The air vents are also rectangular and sleek and have silver surrounds.
Features
In terms of features, the new Honda Elevate comes equipped with modern amenities such as a 7-inch TFT screen in the instrument console, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and a push start-stop button. Additionally, the Honda Elevate also comes with rear AC vents, a single-pane sunroof, and a wireless charger. It also incorporates the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) features, including a collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation system, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, and lead car departure mitigation system.
Engine and Transmission
As for the powertrain side of things, the Honda Elevate comes only with a single naturally aspirated petrol engine option. The car comes equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine found under the bonnet of its sedan sibling City. This engine will come paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. In terms of the power figures, this petrol engine generates 121 PS of maximum power and 145 Nm of maximum torque.
