The Japanese multinational automaker Honda Cars India has unveiled exciting news as it commences the production of the highly anticipated Honda Elevate at its Tapukara manufacturing plant. The all-new Elevate SUV is set to make its grand debut in the Indian car market, later in September. The bookings for Honda Elevate commenced a few weeks ago and so the car has received an overwhelming response from buyers in the country. Elevate already has a considerable waiting period even before its official launch in India, scheduled for September. Honda aims to announce the Elevate’s prices in the first week of September, right before the festive season begins.

Situated in the northwestern state of Rajasthan, this state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and a highly skilled workforce. The plant boasts a robust production line capable of meeting the growing demand for Honda’s vehicles in India. With a focus on quality and efficiency, the Tapukara plant has consistently been a pivotal element in Honda’s manufacturing prowess.
Talking about the Honda Elevate, the new global mid-size SUV from Honda stands out with its completely new and captivating design both inside and out, showcasing a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and rugged appeal. With its bold and muscular appearance, the Honda Elevate commands attention on the roads. The front grille, accented by a chrome garnish, showcases a vertically-aligned design, while sleek LED headlamps and fog lamps add a touch of sophistication. The side profile features body cladding over the wheel arches and bottom of the door panels, complemented by silver-colored roof rails and chrome-finished rearview mirrors. At the rear, inverted L-shaped combination tail lamps with LED inserts and a roof-mounted spoiler add to its captivating design.

Inside the cabin, the Honda Elevate offers a delightful combination of dual-tone black and brown leather upholstery, exuding modernity and elegance. Alongside the 7-inch TFT screen in the instrument console and the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the SUV boasts an array of contemporary features, including automatic climate control and a convenient push start-stop button. Safety remains a top priority for Honda, as evidenced by the Elevate’s advanced safety features, including six airbags, a Lanewatch camera, and Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology. In terms of the drivetrain side of things, the Honda Elevate shares its platform and powertrain options with the well-established City sedan. Equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, the SUV delivers an impressive 121 PS of maximum power and 145 Nm of peak torque. Buyers will have the option to choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a smooth CVT gearbox. With claimed fuel efficiency figures of 15.31 kmpl for the manual variant and 16.92 kmpl for the CVT variant, the Elevate promises an engaging and efficient ride.
