After a considerable wait, Honda Cars India, the Japanese automotive giant, has finally introduced its Elevate mid-size SUV. This new SUV enters the competitive mid-size segment, ready to take on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and more. While the company unveiled the list of features, specific details about feature distribution across variants were not initially disclosed. However, a recent leak has now revealed the variants and their respective equipped features.
The Elevate mid-size SUV, the first made-in-India global model from Honda, will be available in four distinct variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. Here is the detailed list of features available with each variant.
Starting with the entry-level SV variant, the Honda Elevate will come equipped with LED projector headlights and LED taillamps. Inside the cabin, it will have an engine push-button start with the Honda Smart Entry System. The auto air conditioning system will include a PM 2.5 cabin air purifying filter, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. The SV variant also offers beige fabric upholstery, R16 wheels, 60:40 split/folding rear seats, and dual front SRS airbags for safety.

Moving up to the mid-level V variant, additional features that enhance connectivity and entertainment include a floating-type 20.3 cm (8-inch) advanced touchscreen display audio system, paired with four speakers. Wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, along with Honda Connect, the brand’s proprietary multifunctional app, provide the vehicle’s vital information. Steering-mounted audio and hands-free telephone (HFT) switches, as well as a multi-angle rearview camera, are some additional features.
Stepping up to the VX variant, the Elevate will come equipped with a one-touch single-pane electric sunroof. Furthermore, the SUV will also get R17 dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels and roof rails, enhancing its sporty and adventurous appeal. Inside, the VX variant will have a 17.7 cm (7-inch) HD color TFT meter cluster, and it will also feature a LaneWatch camera to increase safety during lane changes. The VX variant also offers a wireless smartphone charger, auto-folding door mirrors, LED projector fog lamps, and a six-speaker audio system.
At the top of the lineup of the Elevate is the ZX variant. This top-of-the-line variant comes equipped with Honda SENSING, the brand’s advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) technology, which provides additional safety features like adaptive cruise control and collision mitigation braking. The SUV is also equipped with side airbags and side curtain airbags. Additionally, the infotainment system is upgraded to a floating-type 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) advanced HD touchscreen display audio system with an 8-speaker setup. The ZX variant also offers luxurious brown leatherette upholstery with soft-touch pads on the dashboard and door trims. Auto-dimming IRVM (inside rearview mirror) and chrome outer door handles are added features of the top-spec ZX variant.
The forthcoming Elevate will come equipped with a single-engine option. It will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which generates 121 PS of power and 150 Nm of torque. This particular engine is currently utilized in the Honda City mid-size sedan. In terms of transmission choices, the Elevate will offer a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox, depending on the specific variant.
