Honda Elevate ZX vs VX variants: What are the differences between the two? [Video]

The Japanese automotive giant Honda Cars India will soon launch their newest mid-size SUV, Elevate, in India on the 4th of September. The company will announce the price of this highly anticipated Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival in the country. At the moment, the cars have started arriving at the dealerships, and one by one, detailed walkaround videos of each of Elevate’s four variants are making their way onto the internet. Recently, a video comparison of the Elevate’s top-spec ZX and the second-top VX variant has also been shared on YouTube.

The video of the Honda Elevate mid-size SUV’s both top-spec variants has been shared on YouTube by The Car Show on their channel. The video starts off with the presenter mentioning that the left car in the video is the ZX variant, and the one on the right is the VX variant. He then adds that as of yet, the company has not revealed the pricing for this SUV, but he anticipates that the starting price for the Elevate will be around Rs 11 lakh, and it will go all the way up to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).

Following this, the presenter then moves to the front of the SUV and mentions that from the front, mostly, both of these variants appear to be the same. The only major difference on the front is the grille. On the ZX variant, it comes with high-gloss black inserts, but on the VX variant, those grille inserts come in matte black. Next, he adds that another major difference is that the ZX variant comes with a camera on the top of the windshield for the Honda Sensing ADAS System. The VX variant misses out on this crucial feature. He adds that other than that, the rest of the things are the same on both cars.

Moving on, the presenter then shows the side profile of both cars and mentions that the sides are also nearly identical with only two major differences. He states that the first difference is that the side lower door cladding on the ZX variant on the left gets a body-colored part in the middle. The VX variant, on the other hand, does not get this and instead gets the same matte black-colored cladding on the door.

He then also points out that the handlebars on the ZX variant come with chrome, but the VX variant comes with the body color. He adds that both cars get the same design for the 17-inch alloy wheels. After this, the presenter then moves to the rear of the car and mentions that at the rear, there are no changes, and both cars are exactly the same.

Following the exterior, the presenter then starts with the comparison of the interior of both variants. He starts off by stating that the top-spec ZX variant comes equipped with a tan-brown leather-wrapped interior along with black. Meanwhile, the VX variant comes with a lighter beige type of color along with black. He mentions that the door pads on the top-spec ZX variant are leather-wrapped, but in the VX, they are fabric. He adds that the seat covers on the ZX variant are also leather. But on the VX variant, they are cloth.

The presenter shows the rear seats of the car and mentions that the top model comes equipped with a handrest inside the middle passenger’s seat. However, he then reveals that the second base variant misses out on this feature. Following this, he then shows the dashboard layout of the two models and adds that the only major difference is that the top-spec variant comes equipped with a bigger touchscreen with buttons on the lower part. Lastly, the presenter adds that the VX variant gets the buttons for the slightly smaller touchscreen on the right side.
