Honda Jazz BS6 bookings officially open: Launch very soon

Honda has officially started accepting the bookings for the new Jazz. Honda planned to launch the car earlier this year but due to the COVID-19 related lockdown and restrictions, the launch got delayed. The Jazz has been updated with new features and will be available only with a diesel engine option with the update.

Customers can book the all-new Honda Jazz through offline dealerships or online through Honda’s official website. For bookings made at the dealerships, the customers will have to pay Rs 21,000 while for customers booking the car from home will have to pay only Rs 5,000. The customers can even book the car and get the delivery at home without having to visit the dealership at all under the “Honda from Home” platform.

Over the years, we observed Jazz customers demonstrating strong preference for petrol powertrains. Responding to this trend, we have decided to offer the New Jazz exclusively in petrol engine in both Manual and CVT variants. With this latest offering and a full festive season ahead of us, we see fresh excitement in the premium hatchback segment.

The new Jazz will take on the likes of Tata Altroz, Elite i20, Baleno and Glanza in the segment. Honda has also added a few new features to the car. It now includes full LED headlamps, fog lamps and tail lamps with the top-end version. Honda has also added the electric sunroof with the new Jazz. The customers also get cruise control system, and smart entry with push-button start and stop. The Jazz also gets new bumpers at the front and rear that changes the overall look of the car and makes it look fresher and updated.

The all-new Honda Jazz will only offer a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine. Honda will not offer any diesel engine with the Jazz at the moment. The petrol engine produces a maximum power of 90 PS and peak torque of 110 Nm. It will come with a 5-speed manual transmission and an automatic CVT. Variants with automatic transmission will get paddle shifters too.
