The Honda Jazz BS6 version has now become the first car in the segment to offer an electric sunroof. Apart from that it continues to offer all the other features that it used to before. Coming inside, the Honda Jazz continues to offer a spacious cabin for both passengers and luggage, gets touchscreen infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It gets a multi function steering wheel with audio controls and cruise control on it. The whole dashboard gets a black theme with silver or brushed aluminium inserts at places.
Older or the BS4 version of the Honda Jazz was available with petrol and diesel engine options. The BS6 version however comes with a petrol engine only. The 1.5 litre diesel engine has been discontinued. The petrol engine used in the Jazz is a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated unit that generates 90 PS of peak power and 110 Nm of peak torque. The petrol engine is available with a manual and CVT gearbox options. The CVT version also gets paddle shifters and is the only car in the segment to offer that. Also, the electric sunroof that the Jazz offers is a major draw, and a feature that the competition – consisting of the Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Tata Altroz – does not offer.
