While the stock versions of the cars look sober and attractive, little alterations and additions to the exterior can massively change the whole outlook of the vehicle. Modifications are not quite popular in India. However, there are a few who have got customised body kits on their vehicles that look extremely good. Here are five such examples of crazy body kits on Indian cars.
Hyundai Verna
The Hyundai Verna has been around for a long time in the market. It is popular for its powerful engine options and fluidic body design. Here is a 2014 Hyundai Verna that came with a sleek grille and a fluidic design. Modsters Automotive has modified the Hyundai Verna with a large front grille with and diffuser at front and rear. The car also gets projector headlamps with DRL and Devil’s Eyes. The rear gets a dual-exhaust tip with a diffuser. The vehicle also gets aftermarket alloy wheels.
Volkswagen Polo GT TSI
The Volkswagen Polo GT TSI was one of the first hot hatchbacks in the Indian market. This car modified by the Modsters Automotive gets several changes including an aftermarket custom F-86 body kit. The front-end gets a huge bumper with a built-in diffuser. It completely changes the way the Volkswagen Polo looks. At the rear, there is a roof-mounted big spoiler, which makes the car look very aggressive. That’snot all, the rear bumper has been updated with and aftermarket bumper and it now gets quad-exhaust tips. It also gets a good looking diffuser in the rear.
Toyota Fortuner
The Toyota Fortuner is an all-time favourite in the segment. It looks massive on the road and the all-new model also gets sleek design. Often owners of the Fortuner replace the front grille of the car with Lexus kit but this one here gets the TRD grille, which is an official accessory from Toyota but sadly is not available in India. It gets the name Yellow Ghost and is undoubtedly one of the best-modified Fortuner SUVs in India. Moreover, the vehicle gets a chrome-delete package with blacked out door handles, logos and all. The SUV gets Sicilian yellow body wrap with a blacked-out roof that adds a dual-tone effect to the vehicle.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, the best-selling car in the segment earlier offered an RS version, which came with a large rear spoiler. However, the facelifted version does not offer that. Here is a Ciaz that has been modified extremely beautifully by 360 Motoring. This can be termed as India’s best modified Ciaz and gets an Audi-inspired large front grille and a large spoiler at the rear. It also gets huge air dams and a front bumper splitter. The custom headlamps look like they carry the corona rings of the older-generation BMW cars. It is a wide-body kit with flared wheel arches. Even the rear of the car gets a lot of changes including a new bumper, tinted tail lamps and a huge spoiler.
Ford Endeavour
The new-generation Ford Endeavour looks extremely good on the road. However, this modified version looks nothing less than a monster! The modification job done by Autobacs India changes the whole look of the Fortuner. It is called the Rhino and gets extensive changes. The SUV gets an aftermarket front grille with roof-mounted auxiliary lamps. The body kit is known as the Raptor X Series kit, which ensures that the Endeavour looks like the Ford Raptor.
The vehicle also gets aftermarket front suspension from Black Rhino with 2.5 sub tank and it is 15-step adjustable. The rear suspension is from HOBIT and is 19-inch adjustable. There are many more changes in the car including Rhino bonnet scoop, ARB heavy duty antenna, off-road MCC snorkel, body cladding, Bushwacker flares and more!
