Hrithik Roshan has appeared in the new TVC of Bounce Infinity EV scooter. The scooter, which was officially unveiled earlier this month comes with a battery swapping feature, which makes it unique in the market. Hrithik Roshan highlights the same feature in the commercial video.
The ad shows how people struggle to charge their electric scooters and how the scooters have limited range. Bounce offers a battery swapping system that allows the owners to simply swap the discharged battery with a fully charged one and eliminate the need to charge the scooter.

How does the battery swapping work?
Bounce Infinity E1 is available with a battery and a charger or a battery-subscription based model. The battery swapping subscription option makes the Bounce Infinity E1 the most affordable electric scooter in the segment with a price tag of Rs 45,099 only.
The customers choosing the battery subscription pack will not get the battery and the charger. Instead, the customers will get access to the battery-swapping network of the company. These battery changing stations will be positioned at many strategic locations across the country. Customers with a depleted battery can use these stations to replace the empty battery with a fully charged one and continue their journey.
Initially, the battery swapping stations will be set up in 10 cities. A total of 3,500 charging stations will be available to the customers and the location of these stations will be residential societies, key parking areas, corporate spaces and more such areas where the footfall is high. Customers will be able to find the nearest station by installing Bounce App on their phones. The process takes less than a minute.
Bounce Infinity E1
The all-new Bounce Infinity E1 is powered by a BLDC motor that generates peak torque of 83 Nm. The scooter can do 0-40 km/h in 8 seconds and can touch the top speed of 65 km/h. There are two riding modes in the scooter – Eco and Power. The battery provided with the scooter is a 48V 39 Ah lithium-ion unit that lasts for about 85 km of riding under standard conditions.
The scooter will be available with five different colour options – Sporty Red, Sparkle Black, Pearl White, Comet Gret and Desat Silver. Bounce offers the scooter with alloy wheels, LED headlamps, tail lamp and turn indicators. The scooter also gets a digital instrument cluster and a 12-litre under-seat storage compartment. The scooter also offers features like a cruise control system, drag mode, geofencing, reverse mode, antitheft system and tow alert.
Bounce claims that with the unique battery swapping technology, customers will be able to save up to 40 percent compared to conventional petrol scooters. However, it will be interesting to see how the battery swapping network comes up in the future.
