Hrithik Roshan’s custom-built Mercedes V-Class by DC Design is pure OPULENCE

DC Design has taken a new turn and rebranded as DC2 and are back in the business with a bang. DC Design is the most well-known brand in car modification and all the high-end car buyers go to the market with their esteemed requirement. It was only the recent times that they revealed Madhuri Dixit’s modified Toyota Innova Crysta. Following that they beat their own new high with the customized Mercedes-Benz V-Class for Hrithik Roshan.

V Class 1

Hrithik Roshan is a well-known celebrity in the Bollywood and definitely doesn’t shy away to splurge on his vehicles. He has one of the most expensive car line-up up in his garage country-wide. It includes cars like Rolls Royce Ghost, Mercedes Benz S-Class and Mercedes –Maybach S650. There are also cars by other high-end manufacturers such as Land Rover Range Rover, a couple of Mini Coopers and a Porche Cayenne Turbo S. However, this Mercedes Benz V Class is the first one he’s gotten modified.

V Class 4

The pictures of the cabin interiors by DC2 shows that it does retain the original four seats but it’s unclear if the middle row seats can still be revolved or they’re fixed. Further to the seat features, it comes with an electronically controlled recliner which can be controlled by a panel situated on the armrests. To add the luxury of the pearl white seat cover, the windows have wooden panels. These panels are retractable as per the choice of the car owner. The stitching of the white leather seat covers is dotted with diamonds and takes the luxury factor to a whole other level. The wooden panels run all around the car, giving it symmetry and is coupled with ambient lighting that can be controlled and changed as per mood.

V Class 2

Looking towards the top of the interior cabin of the car, the Mercedes Benz V Class gets large panel lights. However, these mighty lights give out a soft diffused effect and illuminate the cabin beautifully and evenly. There are extra reading lights on the ceiling. The centre table inside the cabin just takes the show away. It comes with retractable wings that can be used to hold many things with stability in a moving car. Speaking of holding things with stability, there is also a mini-fridge inside the car to keep your drinks chilled on the ride. There are no screens in the car. We feel this car could possibly be used as a mini vanity van which can also be used for daily commute on longer routes.

V Class 3

Even the car was launched in India just about a year back, it has quickly gained a lot of popularity. Amitabh Bachchan became one of the first popular Indian celebrity to procure it. The base variant is priced at INR 68.4 lakhs and it goes up to INR 82 lakhs for the extended long-wheelbase version. Mercedes Benz is on fire in the market as they recently launched the Marco Polo adventure variant and it is priced at INR 1.48 crores. The Mercedes Benz V-Class is powered with a 2.-litre BS6 compliant engine. The car can generate a maximum power of 162 Bhp and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The transmission installed in the car is a 7-speed automatic.
