Seriously Humble cars of BILLIONAIRES: Mark Zuckerberg’s Honda Fit to Warren Buffett’s Cadillac XTS

When one talks about the richest people in the world, things like stately mansions, private jets, yachts and high-end cars come to mind. With all that money these billionaires have, that’s quite an obvious thought to come to the mind. Talking about their cars, most of them prefer travelling in the likes of Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari and flagship luxury models from manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz and BMW among others. However, not all well-known billionaires from around the world use such flashy cars as their regular rides. There are some that prefer a rather humble set of wheels as their daily drive. Curious about who are they? Read along to find out 5 humble cars of super-rich personalities from across the globe.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg is not only among the richest persons in the entire world but also one of the most recognized personalities in the world. Founder of Facebook, Mark is a success story in himself at just 34-years of age. Despite all his riches, he usually uses a Honda Fit hatchback. To let you know, the Fit is actually the same car (almost) as what is known as the Jazz in this part of the world.

Mark uses an older generation model of the Honda Fit which is a pretty popular hatchback in the US. It is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 117 bhp. Apart from the Honda Fit, Mark Zuckerberg has been seen using a VW Golf GTI and the Acura TSX also. Though they are more expensive than the Honda hatchback but are still nowhere close to the exotics that most such high-profile entrepreneurs own and drive.

Warren Buffett

Warren Buffet is one name that most of us know since our childhood. Chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Buffet is currently the third-richest person in the world and a massively successful businessman and investor. With that kind of money, he can commission luxury car makers like Rolls Royce to make a bespoke model for him. However, he prefers to use a Cadillac XTS, a fairly common car in the United States.

It costs about Rs. 30 lakh when its price is converted to Indian currency. He loves to drive himself and sold his older Cadillac CTS sedan a couple of years back before getting the XTS. The sedan has a pretty spacious interior and is powered by a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine. The engine is available in two states of tune – 304 bhp (for naturally aspirated) and 410 bhp (with twin-turbo setup).

Steve Ballmer

Steve Ballmer is the ex- CEO of Microsoft, a position which he bid adieu in 2014. His net worth is USD 31.4 Billion, which makes him pretty wealthy. Ballmer has come a really long way – he was one of the first employees of Microsoft and was hired by Bill Gates as a business manager. Back then, he received an 8% stake in the company.

While Steve has made it really big, he drives a humble Ford Fusion hybrid. Actually, he was gifted this car by Ford Motor Co. to commemorate the one-millionth car to have the SYNC infotainment system. The 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid variant is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol motor that outputs a maximum power of 156 bhp. The engine is assisted by an electric motor that offers 106 bhp. The two power sources have a combined output of 191 bhp.

Roman Abramovich

Football fans may easily recognize Roman Abramovich who is a renowned Russian business tycoon. For the uninitiated, Roman is the owner of the popular English Premium League club, the Chelsea Foot Club. He has a pretty lavish lifestyle as he is among the wealthiest people of Russia. While he owns many exotics cars, he has been seen driving an electric vehicle in France on multiple occasions. Well, if that is not humbleness than we have not idea what might be termed as humble.

Steve Wozniak

Apart from Steve Jobs, another Steve was responsible for the creation of Apple which is one of the biggest electronics company in the world. We are talking about Steve Wozniak, who is known as the designer of the first-ever Apple computer. Though he may not be as famous as of late Steve Jobs, Wozniak is well respected across the globe for his work in the industry. He also owns several electronic companies and even has a popular baseball team. The man has a net worth of USD 100 million. However, he drives a Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle which is a pretty humble car as for sure. The Bolt EV is powered by an electric motor that outputs a maximum power of 200 bhp.
