Husband gifts wife a multi-crore Rolls Royce Cullinan super luxury SUV on wedding anniversary

Wedding anniversaries are special and more so when it is the Silver Jubilee anniversary! Celebrating 25 years of wedding anniversary, an Indian woman based in Vancouver, Canada received a brand-new Rolls Royce Cullinan as a gift! A car that is as special as the occasion itself. Anie Phillip became the first Indian to own the Rolls Royce Cullinan in the North American continent.

Anie Philip, who is a realtor in Canada celebrated 25th wedding anniversary on 30th March 2020. The Rolls Royce Cullinan came as a gift from the husband, Reji Philip. The exquisite white coloured Rolls Royce Cullinan gifted to Anie also has a custom number plate with her name on it. That’s something many would just dream about, isn’t it?

The white coloured Rolls Royce has customised red colour leather interior that looks gorgeous. It gets 5-spoke steel rims that look extremely attractive while on the move. The car was delivered to the couple on the wedding anniversary date last month.

The Cullinan is not the only luxury car in their garage but it is the first Rolls Royce. Anie and her family including three children are a major car fanatic and own a range of luxury vehicles in India and in Canada. Their current garage has cars like 2005 Hummer H2 with luxury package, a 2016 Porsche Cayenne, a 2019 Lexus NX (F-Sport package) and the recently bought Cullinan. Originally from Kerala, India, they also have a Mercedes-Benz GL350 SUV stationed in India and whenever they are in the country, they take it out for a ride.

The Rolls Royce Cullinan is the latest vehicle from the British luxury brand. It is the first-ever SUV from the manufacturer and it drips of luxury, just like any other Rolls Royce car. However, it goes a notch up and offers some of the most advanced features. It gets a split tailgate that slides out and converts into a picnic table. And if someone wants to stay inside the vehicle to remain weather-sealed, there is a glass partition between the cabin and the tailgate that ensures that you can do that.

The Cullinan comes with some of the never-seen-before features. Since it is an SUV, it gets the 4-wheel drive system but Rolls Royce has not complicated the things and has not offered various options like diff-lock and other modes. Instead, it goes into off-roading by raising the air suspension by 40mm. It also gets the Magic Ride system that offers an electronic damping system and one of the riding comfort. The Cullinan can go safely through 570mm of water, which is a lot! The tyres of the are custom made to offer lower rolling resistance and reduce the road noise. That’s not it, the cabin is acoustically sealed and it is the quietest cabin in the segment! The Rolls Royce Cullinan is all about luxury and the rear seat passengers can even enjoy a chilled bottle of wine that can be stored in the refrigerator under the rear armrest. It can also hold two wine chimes.

Rolls Royce uses the 6.5-litre V12 engine to power the SUV. It generates a maximum power of 560 Bhp and a peak torque of 850 Nm. There is an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission available with the wheel and the power goes to all the wheels. The Cullinan also gets four-wheel steering system, which is unique in the segment.
