4 New Hyundai SUVs Launching This Year: What’s Coming?

2024 is going to be a big year for the South Korean automotive giant Hyundai Motor India Limited. The company has already entered the year with a bang with the launch of the new Creta facelift. However, this is not it. The company has four more models lined up for this year, and it will be launching them in the coming months. Now, if you are a Hyundai fan and want to know which of these vehicles will be launched by the brand in the coming months, then you have come to the right place. Here is the complete list.
As we all know, the Alcazar is the extended wheelbase version of the Hyundai Creta. So now, as the Creta has received a facelift, most certainly the company will also be soon launching the Alcazar facelift. At the moment, the exact launch date for the Alcazar facelift has not been revealed, but reports have stated that it could come around the month of June of this year.
Most likely, it will receive a similar front fascia as the Creta facelift and will also get a similarly designed interior as well. The major differences will be on the side profile and the rear end. The car will be a little longer than the Creta facelift, as it has to make room for the additional third row of seats. Powertrain options will more likely than not remain the same as the outgoing model.
In order to lure in more buyers for its only electric SUV at the moment, Hyundai is set to introduce the newest iteration of its SUV, Kona. The facelift for this SUV has already been on sale in the international markets for some time now. The new Kona EV facelift will come with a newly designed front fascia and a set of distinctive 19-inch alloy wheels. It will also get a shut-off air intake with pixel-inspired designs, and its design will be an extremely polarizing design. As per the reports, the new SUV could be 25 mm wider, 150 mm longer, and have a wheelbase that is 60 mm longer than the outgoing model. The interior might also undergo a comprehensive makeover and become inspired by the Ioniq 5 EV.
Hyundai has already unveiled the facelifted Tucson internationally, and most likely this year, India will be receiving this new facelifted model. The company has slightly updated the exterior design of the Tucson and has made it more refined. It gets a new grille and updated front and rear bumpers along with new alloy wheels. The interior has been completely revamped and gets a much more sophisticated and premium look. Most likely, the powertrain options will remain the same as the outgoing model. Hyundai could launch the new Tucson facelift in the second half of this year.
Last but not least, one of the most anticipated models to come from the South Korean automaker will be the electric iteration of the Creta compact SUV. This SUV will most likely feature an EV-specific design and will come with an electric powertrain supplied by LG Chem, a renowned global provider of lithium-ion battery packs. Reportedly, the Creta EV will be powered by a 45kWh battery pack and it could also get a 138 bhp power and 255 Nm of torque-producing electric motor. The exact launch date has not been revealed by the brand, but it will most likely make its debut around the end of this year.
