Hyundai Alcazar: What the upcoming 7 seat SUV will look like

Hyundai recently announced the name of their upcoming 7-seater SUV. The all-new SUV will known as Alacazar and will make it global debut soon. Hyundai Alcazar when launched, will compete with cars like MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and the upcoming Mahindra XUV500 in the segment. Alcazar is based on the new gen Hyundai Creta SUV that got launched in the market last year. We have seen several render images and videos of the upcoming SUV and the same has been spotted testing several times under heavy camouflage. Here we have a new render image that shows how the upcoming Alcazar SUV from Hyundai could look like.

The render images  have been shared by KDesign AG on Behance. He has created render images of several upcoming vehicles in the past. As we already know, Alcazar will be based on the 5-seater Creta that is already on sale in India. The render artist started with Creta for this render and made some changes to differentiate it. Starting with the front grille, it gets a different design than the one seen in regular Creta. There is a chrome outline running around the front grille but, the interior elements are all black.

The headlights remain the same as Creta. it gets tri-beam projector LED headlamps with split LED DRLs. The fog lamps and turn indicators are placed on the lower part of the bumper with silver colour skid plate right next to it. Moving to the side profile, there is a chrome garnish on the side fender and the design of the alloy wheels is also different from regular Creta. In comparison to Creta, the overall length of Alcazar will be more as there will be a third row of seats on the inside.

There is a chrome garnish around the window area and the thick black cladding can be seen all around the car. Silver coloured lightning arc that is seen in Creta is not present in this rendered version of Alcazar. Moving to the rear portion is where it looks different from Creta. The Alcazar render gets a roof mounted spoiler and different looking tail light. In Creta we have seen split LED tail lights with an LED bar on the boot. All that has been removed in Alcazar. It now gets an LED tail light that actually looks like a revised version of what we have seen in Hyundai’s luxury SUV Palisade. The rear bumper is different too. It looks a lot more sharp and sporty than the one seen in Creta.

There is a silver colour faux skid plate on the lower part of the bumper with reflector lamps integrated in it. Recently, interior pictures of Alcazar were leaked which showed that it would also come with captain seats in the middle row. Just like Creta or any other Hyundai model, Alcazar will also be a feature loaded SUV. It will come with touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, connected car services, wireless charging and so on. Alcazar is expected to be powered by the same set of engines as Creta. There will a 1.5 litre petrol and diesel engine which will come with CVT and torque converter automatic transmission options respectively (other than manual). The 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine will be paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
