Hyundai will be launching the Alcazar tomorrow in the Indian market. It will sit above the Creta but lower than the Tucson. It is also the only 7-seater vehicle that Hyundai will be offering. The manufacturer did not unveil all the features of the SUV. Now, the pictures of Alcazar’s brochure have been leaked which reveal what all equipment the new SUV will offer.
The Alcazar will be offered in six variants. There will be Prestige, Prestige(O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature and Signature (O). Only the Prestige(O), Platinum(O) and Signature(O) variants will be offered with an automatic transmission.
As standard, Hyundai will offer LED setup for trio-headlamps, Daytime Running Lamps, tail lamps and positioning lamps. There will be a 7-inch digital supervision cluster as standard while the higher variants will get a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The panoramic sunroof will also be offered as a standard that you will be able to open/close using a voice command. There is also a perforated leather-wrapped D-cut steering wheel and gear knob.
The rear occupants will get their own AC vents, sun shades, cup holders and if you opt for the 6-seater version then you will get a dedicated central console with a wireless charger, storage and cup holders. The third-row occupants get a three-step adjustment for the AC vents. There are USB chargers in the first, second and third row and the higher variants get two USB chargers instead of one in the third row. The second-row occupants also get reclining and sliding seats or captain seats if you go for the 6-seater version.
Hyundai is also offering a sunglass holder, electric tailgate release, height-adjustable driver seat and follow me home headlamps. Also, there will be a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Navigation. There is also a multi-function steering wheel. It is connected to Arkamys sound system as standard. However, you upgrade to the higher variants you will get Bose speaker system with subwoofer, central speaker and front tweeters. There is also BlueLink connected car technology that can update the maps on the infotainment system through OTA and there is also smartwatch connectivity.
The SUV will come with diamond-cut alloy wheels as standard and the higher variants get a different design. The higher variants also come with side footsteps, leather upholstery, puddle lamps, ventilated seats, air purifier with AQI display and electric adjustment for the driver seat. The higher variants will also come with side and curtain airbags, surround-view camera, front parking sensors and blind view monitor.
As we can see that Hyundai is offering a lot of equipment that too as standard. So, there is a high chance that the Alcazar will be positioned above Creta. The Creta’s top-end variant currently costs Rs. 17.83 lakhs ex-showroom. So, expect the Alcazar to start from somewhere around Rs. 15 lakh mark.
