Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular mid size SUV in the segment. It has been ruling the segment for a very long time and it competes with cars like Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier in the segment. Several options are available for modifying current generation Hyundai Creta and we have seen many of them on our website as well. Here we have a base E variant Hyundai that has been neatly modified to look like Hyundai’s recently launched 7-seater SUV Alcazar.
The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. video shows all the modifications that are done to the base variant Creta. The front has been completely transformed. The stock bumper, grille, headlamps in the base variant Creta have been replaced with tri-beam LED headlamps, chrome grille with outlines and bumper from an Alcazar.
The Alcazar bumper fits perfectly on to Creta giving it the desired look. The fog lamps and turn indicators are integrated in the bumper just like Alcazar. Moving to the side profile, the stock 16 inch steel rims on Creta were replaced for 17 inch Alcazar alloys. The SUV also gets a foot step for ingress egress. The car also gets lower window chrome garnish, rain visors, electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, chrome garnish on fender and roof rails.
At the rear, the car gets base variant tail lamps but the bumper has been revised and it also comes with LED reflector lamps. A shark fin antenna has also been installed on the car. Moving inside, many other customisation are seen here too. At the rear, an aftermarket air purifier has been installed which comes with higher version of Creta and Alcazar. Grab handles have been installed for rear passenger with reading lamps. A USB charging port has also been installed for rear passengers.
The seats now get black and brown dual tone seat covers. It is similar to the shade that is offered with Alcazar. Walnut coloured wrap is seen on the door pads as well. The floor mats also carry a similar colour theme. The steering gets leather wrap and comes with audio controls and cruise control installed on it. An aftermarket touchscreen infotainment screen has also been installed with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The screen also shows feed from the rear parking camera. Damping has been done on all four doors and speaker system has also been upgraded. illuminated scuff plates are another additions on this Creta. Overall, the work looks very neat and the car looks a lot more premium than regular Creta.
Hyundai Creta is available with three engine options. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that comes with manual and CVT gearbox. The 1.5 litre turbo diesel comes with manual and automatic transmission. The most powerful engine in the lot is the 1.4 litre turbo petrol which comes with 7-speed DCT gearbox as standard. Alcazar on the other hand gets the same 1.5 litre diesel engine as Creta and 2.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Both engines get manual and automatic transmission option.
