Facelifted Hyundai Creta’s first TVC starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is out

Launched at introductory prices starting at Rs 11 lakh, the new Hyundai Creta facelift has received a fresh new exterior and a heavily-revised cabin while getting a longer equipment list with more features, including Level-2 ADAS. In addition to the already existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, the new Hyundai Creta has also the option of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which has been actively promoted in the latest advertisement of the SUV.

This new advertisement of Hyundai Creta facelift stars long-standing brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan, along with the new brand ambassador of Hyundai, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. The video ad, which spans more than 2 minutes, has been shot like a trailer for an action movie, which has been shot by ace Bollywood director, Siddharth Anand. Along with the two prominent actors from Bollywood, the star of this ad campaign is a black-coloured Hyundai Creta, with the “Turbo” badge on its boot lid indicating that it is the top-spec SX(O) variant with the new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.
The video ad shows Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone as undercover agents, who are out on a mission against the enemies. The video starts with Deepika Padukone entering the enemy zone, who is joined by Shah Rukh Khan who enters the scene in the Hyundai Creta. The ad then progresses with a high-octane chase, with the enemies chasing the Creta which is being driven by Deepika Padukone, with Shah Rukh Khan sitting beside him.
The following scene shows two bikers from the enemy side, who start chasing the Creta, and this time, the actors swap their seats, with Shah Rukh now taking control of the steering wheel. After dodging the bikers, the actors drive the Hyundai Creta to the top of a building to escape the prying eyes of the enemy. The video then progresses with the actors jumping the Hyundai Creta to the roof of another building by driving it over a ramp on the edge of the roof of the building. The action-packed chasing scene ends with the enemies conceding defeat, with the actors mentioning that their mission has been accomplished.
During the entire video, some of the features of the new Hyundai Creta are highlighted, including Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree parking camera, dual-zone automatic climate control and the new full-TFT cockpit comprising of new 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument console. With the prices of Hyundai Creta now announced, the updated version of the SUV continues to be a potent alternative to other midsize SUVs like Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor and Citroen C3 Aircross.
